There are different ways to get out of bondage depending on the specific type of control or exploitation involved. Biblically, getting out of bondage involves faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, and prayer. Specific steps include confessing your faith and sins, removing yourself from temptations, surrendering to Our Heavenly Father, releasing unforgiveness, and committing to obedience. of your Heavenly Father. Reading and reciting scripture, also strengthens your walk. Spiritual and personal steps Believe in Christ’s freedom: Understand that “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17) and “if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).
Surrender to God: Give your will over to God rather than demanding freedom. A genuine surrender ushers in freedom.
Pray for deliverance: Pray for God’s intervention, as shown in the Lord’s Prayer (“Deliver us from evil”) and the Psalms.
Repent and confess: Confess your sins, to your Heavenly Father.
Release unforgiveness: Holding onto unforgiveness can create spiritual bondage. Release others from your unhappiness with yourself.
Renounce unholy ties: Intentionally break ties with things that lead you into bondage, such as false things that are not true.
Practical actions.Remove temptation: Flee from people, places, and even social media that tempt you into sin. Take out “the garbage”: Remove anything from your life that goes against God’s will. Commit to serving God: Dedicate your time to knowing Him and His Word. Engage with the community: Get involved with christians in your area, such as a group of christians that are in your community and looking at TV in the morning with ministeries, Such as Son light broad casting network or Trinity broadcasting network; where you can serve and grow with other believers. In the morning before your feet touch the ground pray to your Heavenly Father, he may noot answr right away, but keep talking to him and he will eventully answer. For places that do not allow TV, ask for the materials so you can study. Some you have to pay for and some you can get for nothing.
Continued spiritual practice. Meditate on scripture: Read and memorize scripture, especially promises of freedom and verses about God’s care.Practice thankfulness:Thank God for every victory He grants, no matter how small. Don’t let the enemy win: Recognize that worry and other struggles are often the enemy’s attempts to keep you in Bondage.
Closing Prayer:
“Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus, asking for freedom from the bondage of [mention specific bondages, e.g., addiction, fear, anxiety]. I confess my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. Please help me renounce the decisions and habits that have given place to this stronghold in my life.
I forgive those who have wronged me and ask that You help me release any resentment I hold. I declare that by the power of the blood of Jesus, the chains that have held me are broken. Please replace the chains of darkness with Your light, and heal my soul and body, mending the wounds of my past.
I trust in Your power and love to set me free indeed. In Jesus’ mighty name
Our lord and savior we pray. Please
forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
