Opening Prayer: Heavenly Father, we pray that our words are pleasing to you, and we pray that our congregation has a better understanding of communications and that you will help them too, if they ask you. We ask this in Jesus’s name. Amen.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
As you can see can see in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Our Heavenly Father most important thing to him is that you have a personal relationship with him. So you can have the best eternal life through his son, Jesus christ. This is more important than what you do down here on earth env though you need to do what you are doing, unless it is for him. If you take a couple of hours a day and develop a relationship with God, by praying and talking to him, reading the bible and listening to ministers on TV. Here is a tip for most of you. What ever sticks out in the bible; that is God talking to you.
3) 1 Timothy 2:1-4 “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
In the above verse, God wishes for you to pray for thanksgiving, and thanks for everything that he does. You see everything down here is owned by God, so we have to thank him for everything he gives us and what he helps us with. If you pay attention to this verse and the one above it, and you really follow God and believe in him, chances are Jesus will come and pick you up, and you will make it to heaven; but you have to believe in him and ask for forgiveness of any wrongdoings that you did along the way, and to repent them.
Jeremiah 29:12 “Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.”
6) John 8:47 “Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”
I want to point out some rear exceptions to this. One is if you have a neurological issue; that does not mean God cannot cut through it, but it can interfere which makes it harder for you to hear him. The other reason is that you may have too much baggage from your life and God has to clean it out. The other thing is that you do not take time to hear him. If you have any of these above issues, pray hard, keep talking to God and he eventually will get though to you. The most common way he does this is talk through the bible, or send a vessel. God treats each individual in a different way when it comes to this as well. Most of the time, what the verse says is what it is, but I listed some of the unusual things that could be going on, but God will work with you on the above things, if you ask him to. Remember, God cannot be dealing with people with real sin, unless they come to him and repent it, and he forgives them and wipes it away.
Proverbs 15:1 “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”
You should not want to get anger going, but it is very hard sometimes. Jesus and the Heavenly Father does understand this, and so does The Holy Spirit.
Through these verses and the previous lessons we hope you understand about communication and what the lord has so far let you know and what he expects. We will be continuing our series until we think everyone has gotten the message.
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, we pray that the words above gets into our congregation’s hearts and gets an understanding of what you want as far as communication goes. We ask this in Jesus’s name. Amen.
