Lesson 4 of our communication series

Opening prayer: Heavenly Father, we hope our words are pleasing to your site. We also hope our congregation gets some knowledge and understanding of you from the lesson. We ask this in Jesus’s name. Amen.

Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.”
You should not use any bad language, because that is considered a sin. On occasion it can happen, but try your hardest not to, and should it happen, ask for forgiveness from our heavenly father immediately and repent.
2 Timothy 2:16 “But avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness.”
Explanation of the verse meaning
Avoid excessive talking because it can lead you into horrible trouble.
Colossians 3:8 “But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.”

Talking too much
Talking too much always leads to problems. It not only is selfish and makes it more difficult to listen to whom you’re speaking to, but the Bible says that it leads to trouble.
Proverbs 18:2 “A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.”
Proverbs 25:12 “Like a gold ring or an ornament of gold is a wise reprover to a listening ear.”
Explanation for verse of proverbs 25:12. This is an old saying that gold means good. Gold is excellent to a listening ear
Matthew 12:36 “I tell you, on the day of Judgement you will give an account for every carless word you say.
Proverbs 16:24 “Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.”
These verses we talked about in communication are very important in this lesson. Here on earth. You should all learn what they mean when you read the bible and look them up. We did put some explanations on them, but some we left alone. You and your families can go through and look them up and find the meanings.
Closing prayer: Heavenly Father we pray that our congregation got some wisdom and understanding from these lessons. That they will use them in thier lives, hopefully while walking with you. We ask that you will help them do that in Jesus’s name. Amen.
