Lesson:
Our Heavenly Father loves to help his children with anything they need, and he expects them to ask for help when something is too hard and not to try solving the problem by thier own knowledge. Out of love for us he will test us to see how strong our faith in him is and that we will call to him in time of need.
Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you.” This verse reminds us that our needs will be given to us. God never asks us to worry about our needs, but to simply put him first and to seek his will and he will provide all our needs.
The Bible tells us “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” in Philippians 4:19. When we have faith in Jesus and live righteously, God will provide us a glorious life in His name.
Second Peter 1:3 clarifies this point a little by telling us that God’s power has “granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness.” In other words, God will provide all we need, and ultimately what we need most is a right relationship with God. That’s exactly what God has provided through his Son. God loves us, but because of our sinful nature, He allows these things to happen. He knows that by allowing us to experience failure, pain, and struggle, we will grow stronger in our faith and to become closer to Him and moving away from sin.Another reason we can struggle to trust God is that we have limited understanding. We see so little when it comes to human history. It is hard for us to know how suffering fits in with God’s good plan. We are taught to believe that God’s plan is good and right, but it’s difficult to see that when things are difficult. Thankfully, in all of these trials, whether losing our independence physically or emotionally, we have a God who doesn’t want us to walk alone. He doesn’t want us to be independent, but rather he wants us to run to Him, to be dependent on Him, His guidance, and His mercy.
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father help us to remember that you are always here for us and to come to you when we need something, and not to do it on our own. We pray all that read this lesson draw closer to you and to come to you when in need. In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.
This prayer below is also called the sinners prayer, and it gets people to
become a child of Our Heavenly Father or strengthens thier faith within him whenever they are already a child of Our Heavenly Father.
Prayer for salvation; Lord Jesus; Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior.Take
complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
