Proverbs 22:6 encourages parents to train up a child in the way they should go, so that when they are old they will not depart from it.

Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Associate Pastor Jessie K. Weiss. We

are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. What is the biblical outlook about a christian home. Tuesday June 17, 2025.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 instructs parents to teach God’s commandments to their children diligently.

Psalm 127:1 emphasizes that unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.

Joshua 24:15 highlights the importance of choosing to serve the Lord, both as individuals and as a family.

Lesson:

A christian home in the biblical views is a place built on the foundation of Our Heavenly Father’s Word, where love, peace, and righteousness are actively cultivated. The Bible provides guidance for husbands, wives, and children, emphasizing roles and responsibilities within the family structure. Our Heavenly Father is also recognized as the head and the lord. Love, as defined by the Bible, is central to a Christian home; faith is actively nurtured and passed on to the next generation. The Bible outlines specific roles for husbands and wives, emphasizing love, respect, and submission. The husband is called to love his wife as Christ loved the church, and the wife is called to respect her husband. Children are instructed to obey their parents.
A
Christian home is more than just a physical structure; it’s a living, breathing community built on the principles of God’s Word, where love, faith, and peace reign.

Closing Prayer:

“Heavenly Father, we come before you today to dedicate our home to your glory and purpose. We invite your presence to fill every room, every corner, and every heart within these walls. Lord, we ask for your blessings of peace, love, and protection to surround us. May this home be a sanctuary of your grace, a place where your love is evident in our interactions with one another and with those who visit.

Our lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
