Our Heavenly Father’s time is completely different than time on earth. God has his own sense of timing: ‘With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day’ (2 Peter 3:8). He has perfect timing: never early, never late. God is never in a hurry, but he is always on time. We see in today’s passages that the Lord is sovereign over the future (Daniel 4:32). Biblical time is where a day is one thousand years. On earth as you know is 24 hours being one day. Our Heavenly Father uses his time wisely. In the Old Testament, time is viewed as prophetic and looks forward to the kingdom of heaven being restored by the coming of the Messiah (kingdom coming). In the New Testament, time is viewed as apocalyptic (kingdom initiated by Jesus, but not fully realized until His Parousia at the eschaton—the end of all things).
Time is not fatalistic or capricious, but, according to Scripture, under God’s personal direction and control. Time began at creation and becomes the agency through which God continues to unveil his divine purpose for it. God is transcendent over time.
Because God is sovereign over time all the time, He will be overseeing and working to make the most and best of every situation for us. Time is important to us, but with God, it is not an overriding issue. There is time because He is involved and wants the most and best for us. Kairos (used 86 times in the New Testament) refers to an opportune time, a “moment” or a “season” such as “harvest time”, whereas chronos (used 54 times) refers to a specific amount of time, such as a day or an hour (e.g. Acts 13:18 and 27:9).Historicist interpreters have usually understood the “time, times and half a time, “1,260 days” and “42 months” mentioned in Daniel and Revelation to be references to represent a period of 1260 years (based on the 360 day Jewish year multiplied by 3.5).Our times, like all times, are in God’s hand (Psalm 31:15). This is what it means to live by faith in relation to time. In choosing to trust the speed of God, we humble ourselves under his mighty, time-holding hand. We hope you enjoy this unique lesson about time. That you understand that Our Heavenly Father is giving us a lot of time to get right with him. We suggest you take the time to get right with him. Our Heavenly Father may tell you how to do it if you ask. He wants you to call out to him as well as praise him. Remember your lord and savior is coming back soon, no one knows when but we suggest you get into the bible, and get a relationship and walk with him, and really mean it, and you may get more blessings.
Closing Prayer; We thank you for all the information about your timing, and for sharing it though the bible and other ways. We pray that they understand it, and if they do not, they ask for help and the Holy Spirit will help them. In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.
Prayer of Salvation: Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior.Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
