Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invite you to this service for New Years Day. January 1, 2023

Opening Hymn: This is a day of New beginnings by Brian Wren;

This is a day of new beginnings,

time to remember, and move on,

time to believe what love is bringing,

laying to rest the pain that’s gone.

For by the life and death of Jesus,

love’s mighty Spirit, now as then,

can make for us a world of difference

as faith and hope are born again.

Then let us, with the Spirit’s daring,

step from the past, and leave behind

our disappointment, guilt and grieving,

seeking new paths, and sure to find.

Christ is alive, and goes before us

to show and share what love can do.

This is a day of new beginnings;

our God is making all things new.

Alternate stanza 4, at communion:

In faith we’ll gather round the table

to show and share what love can do.

This is a day of new beginnings;

our God is making all things new.

Philippians 313-14“One thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

Jeremiah 29:11“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”

“Psalm 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”

John 13:34-35 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

You know in the 10 commandments it is written that Thou shall not kill.

This is New Year’s day. It is a new beginning for you in your life, if you take it. All you have to do is ask and have a daily faith time with him, and with you and just him. Even if you are just talking to him. Eventually he will talk back. If he choses to unlock your gifts. We all have gifts inside you and Our Heavenly Father can unlock them if he choses to. Our Heavenly Father does not want you to harm people in any way. Especially the disabled, or the special people that Our Heavenly Father uses and thier traits, you might want to think about that. When anyone asks you to hurt someone, tell them, no I do not want to be with the adversary in eternal life, I want to be with our Heavenly Father. If you are a child of Our Heavenly Father and you give all your problems to him you will be ok. If you are not, we would like to suggest you consider becoming one. Let us have a new year of less violence. Let us not hurt innocent people just because things are made up on them. Let us make sure what happened really happened. Our Heavenly Father wants all of us to be his children. It is never to late to ask for forgiveness and repenting, by saying the prayer we will put below. Our Ministry is wishing anyone that reads this a happy new year’s 2023. Let us have a good time this year, and more people growing in faith. If anyone has problems do not hesitate to contact us by phone, facebook or email, or comment on the page contact area. Our Lord and savior really wants you to have a new beginning, even if you have been a child of his. Also to get into your bibles, either in audio, or online if you cannot read it that well. Most of the bibles can be large print or even regular print. Please learn the word of the lord. Here are some bible verses about new beginnings, listed above.  Our Heavenly Father wants you to have fun with your family and friends, but he also wants us to have time with him, and be safe, do not drink and drive. Ask someone who did not drink to drive. Our Heavenly Father would want you to do that too.

Closing Hymn: We praise you lord by Hezikiah Walker;

Chorus:

Oh Lord we praise You

Oh Lord we praise You

Oh Lord we praise You

Oh Lord we praise You

Oh Lord we praise You

Oh Lord we praise You

Verse:

I was thinking the other day

about the joy that came my way

When He took away my frown

and all those things that had me bound

I thought about all those times

when I was walking around in a daze

but today I stand before You

with nothing but praise

Oh Lord We Praise You

Prayer to start 2023;Let’s end this year with a thankful heart and start the new year with peace and faith. Let us release the bitterness and frustrations of the past year. Let us move into the next year knowing that God loves us and wants the best for us. Let’s pray that the new year will be focused on healing ourselves through repentance and renewing our minds. We were not meant to do life alone! We can bring the light of hope into our own hearts, home, and world.

Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we pray that all the people that read this sermon will take it to heart, become a child of yours, and that there is less violence this year, even though we know there is going to be some, but we are talking about useless violence. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Those who wish to be a child of Our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Prayer of Salvation which is how you ask to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
