Opening Hymn: Blessed Assurance by Fanny Crosby:
Perfect submission, perfect delight! Visions of rapture now burst on my sight; angels descending bring from above, echoes of mercy, whispers of love.” This second stanza captures the interplay between the worshipper and the ministry of angels, assuring us there is more happening than we can see. It is reminiscent of Jacob’s ladder and John’s glimpse into heaven recorded in Revelation.
The joy delivered by these angelic messengers rings out in the chorus, “This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long!” The exuberance expresses the release we feel when, amid trials, we connect with the hope of heaven.
Sermon;
Heaven, as a place of peace, joy, and eternal happiness, presents an image of absolute. According to accounts from people who claim to have experienced near-death experiences and returned to tell stories about heaven, it is often described as a radiant, beautiful city with streets of gold, pearly gates, and walls of precious stones, filled with an overwhelming sense of peace, joy, and light, where they are reunited with loved ones and experience a profound connection with God;Our Heavenly Father created all things, visible and invisible, in love and wisdom. This includes the sun, moon, stars, and the world.

What people will eat in heaven is a matter of faith and belief. No need for sustenance:
Many believe that in heaven, our bodies will be glorified and won’t require food for survival, but might still enjoy eating as part of the experience
Not only will we drink water and wine, we’ll eat from fruit trees (Revelation 22:2), and there’s every reason to believe we’ll drink juice made from the twelve fruits of the tree of life. Along with water, wine, and fruit juice, is there any reason to suppose we won’t drink coffee or tea in Heaven?
The work we will have to do is going to be fun and not hard work. We will be serving Our Heavenly Father in a lot of ways.
- Work in heaven will be a way to fulfill our hopes and dreams
The work in heaven will be a way to fulfill the hopes and dreams we have for our work on Earth.
We will worship, we will fellowship, we will serve, we will work, we will rest and we will rule. We will not be bored, we will not hurt or be hurt, hunger or thirst, mourn or cry, sin or die. Heaven is a perfect place designed for perfected people.
in Christianity, this is often depicted as a place where the souls of the faithful dwell in the presence of God and angels. God’s presence: Most religions consider heaven as the dwelling place of God, where one can experience direct communion with the divine.
Throughout Scripture, heaven is depicted as a place of ultimate peace, joy, and the presence of God. Revelation 21 and 22 provide a vivid description of heaven, portraying it as a new Jerusalem descending from heaven, prepared like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
Closing Hymn: One day by Charles Howard Marsh;
One day when heaven was filled with His praises,
One day when sin was as black as could be,
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin—
Dwelt among men, my example is He! Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;
Buried, He carried my sins far away;
Rising, He justified freely forever:
One day He’s coming—O glorious day!
2
One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain,
One day they nailed Him to die on the tree;
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected;
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He.
3
One day they left Him alone in the garden,
One day He rested, from suffering free;
Angels came down o’er His tomb to keep vigil;
Hope of the hopeless, my Savior is He.
4
One day the grave could conceal Him no longer,
One day the stone rolled away from the door;
Then He arose, over death He had conquered;
Now is ascended, my Lord evermore.
5
One day the trumpet will sound for His coming,
One day the skies with His glory will shine;
Wonderful day, my beloved ones bringing;
Glorious Savior, this Jesus is mine!
