Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Pastor Jessie K. Weiss We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. Why does the adversary do the things he does. Friday January 24, 2025.

  • John 8:44:
“You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him
  • 1 John 3:8:
“The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
  • Genesis 3:1-5:
The story of the serpent (Satan) tempting Eve in the Garden of Eden, highlighting his desire to lead people away from God’s command
  • 1 Peter 5:8:

  • Ephesians 6:12:
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly place

Lesson:

He is the opposer of all that is good and the great promoter of evil. His aim is to be a rival; his motivation was to displace God. Satan’s pride drove him to fall. We see this clearly in the final temptation of Jesus in Matthew 4:9.

He is traditionally held to have rebelled against God in an attempt to become equal to God himself. He is said to be a fallen angel, who was expelled from Heaven at the beginning of time, before God created the material world, and is in constant opposition to God.

The devil cannot oppose God more vigorously than the way described in the final chapter of God’s plan in Revelation. He thus willingly charges.

THE Adversary’s  AIM IS TO INTOXICATE PEOPLE WITH SIN,SO THAT THEY GO TO HELL,SO THAT THOSE PEOPLE MAY ACCOMPANY .

The devil does not torture humans in Hell, nor does he rule over Hell. In fact, the devil will be imprisoned and punished alongside humans in Hell.

No, Satan never gives up and decides to let us alone, because his goal is to draw us away from God — and he always hopes he’ll be able to do this.

A reminder of this, The adversary and the Heavenly Father got into a fight in Heaven, and he left with some of the Heavenly Father’s good angels, then they turned bad. We are stuck in the middle of all this, and it is the Heavenly Father’s fight and not ours. It is important to remember this fact.

Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come before you today, recognizing the schemes of the enemy against my life and declaring that I stand firm in your power. I rebuke every attack, every plan, and every whisper of the adversary against my well-being. With the authority given to me through Jesus Christ, I break the chains of evil, dismantle strongholds of darkness, and resist all attempts to hinder my progress. Shield me with your protection, fill me with your strength, and guide me in the path of righteousness. In Jesus’ name,

Lord Jesus take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
