Matthew 5:16 – We glorify our Father in heaven by our good works that demonstrate His light in us.
Matthew 5:44-45 – God our Father in heaven is good to all, even those who hate Him, curse Him and do evil against Him. As His children, we do the same.
Lesson:
It is very important to relate well to your Heavenly Father when you
are his child. It is one of the most important steps in receiving his blessings in your life. A good prayer life and talking with him will help establish that connection. Eventually when your Heavenly Father hears your voice enough times he will begin to talk back. Keep praying to him and this will make the connection strong as well. Early mornings are the best time to speak with your Heavenly Father, it is the most quiet time of the day. Ask him what he would like you to do for that day, and what order to do each task. It is also a good idea to let your Heavenly Father know how you feel and what might be on your heart each day If by chance you recall making a mistake ask for his forgiveness and repent of it and try not to make the same mistake other times. Our Heavenly Father’s plan in the Bible is to bless humanity, and the way a father blesses his children was to echo this. The blessing of the father involves several key elements, including meaningful touch, a spoken affirmation, and envisioning their future. Keep the relationship with Our Heavenly Father as deep as possible. Let him know often how much you love him and thank him for all he does and for each day of life that he blesses you to have. He blesses those who keep their covenants with His Spirit to guide and strengthen them
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for all your blessings. I ask for your guidance and strength today. Help me to live a life that pleases you. In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.
