Raynette K. Weiss and Associate Pastor Jessie K. Weiss. We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. It is important as christians to ask Our Heavenly Father in prayer what to do each day. Monday August 4, 2025.

To discern what to do each day, Christians can start by praying for guidance and wisdom from God, seeking to understand His will and purpose. This includes reflecting on scripture, seeking counsel from trusted spiritual mentors, and recognizing the promptings of the Holy Spirit in daily life. Ultimately, aligning one’s actions with God’s will involves a commitment to loving God and loving others, as exemplified by Jesus’ teachings. 

  • Daily Prayer:
    Begin and end each day with prayer, asking for guidanceand wisdom to understand God’s will 
  • Confess and Repent:
    Acknowledge any shortcomings or sins, and ask for forgive
  • Ask for Help:
    Specifically request Our Heavenly Father’s help in overcoming challeand making wise decisions.
  • Listen for Answers:
    Pay attention to the thoughts and feelings that come to mind after prayer. These may be promptings from the Holy Spirit, according to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint

2. Reflecting on Scripture:

  • Daily Reading: Dedicate time each day to reading and studying the Bible. 
  • Find Application: Reflect on how the scriptures apply to your specific circumstances and how they can guide your actions. 

3. Seeking Counsel and Community:

  • Talk to Others: Share your thoughts and seek advice from trusted spiritual mentors or friends.
  • Attend Church: Participate in church services and fellowship with other believers. 

4. Living Out God’s Will:

  • Love Our Heavenly Father and Others: Strive to love spit Our Heavenly Father with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love others as yourself according to Tricia Goyer
  • Act Justly: Treat everyone with fairness and kindness. 
  • Be Humble: Recognize your dependence on God and serve others with humility. 
  • Give Thanks: Express gratitude for Our Heavenly Father’s  blessings, both big and small. 

By consistently practicing these principles, individuals can develop a stronger relationship with Our Heavenly Father and gain clarity on how to live a purpose-filled life each day. 

Closing Prayer: 

Dear Heavenly Father, please guide my steps today. Help me to make wise decisions and to walk in your will. Thank you for your love and presence in my life.

Our lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
