- Show Justice and Kindness: Our Heavenly Father requires us to act justly and demonstrate kindness in our interactions with others.
- Cultivate Goodness: We are expected to develop positive traits such as goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
- Live with Thankfulness: A spirit of thankfulness rather than complaining is also a desired trait.
Spiritual Growth and Action
- Pray Regularly: Prayer is a fundamental expectation for communicating with Our Heavenly Father.
- Seek and Apply Atonement: When we stumble, we should turn to Our Heavenly Father, seeking forgiveness and applying Christ’s atoning power to overcome sin.
- Live the Gospel: We are to strive to live the gospel to the best of our ability, becoming more like Jesus Christ in our actions and attitudes.
