Revelation: Revelation 5:9 mentions beings in heaven singing a “new song” to God, though the Hebrew word translated as “sang” can also mean “joyfully shouted” or “rejoiced”.
- Luke 2:13-14: This passage describes a multitude of angels praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
- Psalm 148:2: “Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts!”
- Psalm 103:20: “Bless the LORD, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, obeying the voice of his word!”
- Job 38:7: “When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God [angels] shouted for joy.
Angels sing in heaven constantly. This is a way of giving great praise to Our Heavenly Father and the glory he receives. It is also a way that Our Heavenly Father is worshipped. It is a shout of joy for all creation. However in order for angels to be singing all the time, many of them have to sing in different shifts. Scripture also indicates that there is rejoicing in heaven among angels when a sinner repents. “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom he is pleased!” In christianity many describe a singing angel as a seraphim.
Closing Prayer:
Heavenly Father help me, you make my spirit free to sing the angel song all around your glorious realm. In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.
Our lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of my sins agains
t you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
