Raynette K. Weiss Ministries and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invites you to this lesson on The meaning of the numbers 20 and 21 Monday June 20, 2022.

The meaning of the number 20 in the bible:
The biblical meaning of number 20 represents the cycle of time, specifically cycles of waiting and completion in life. In the Hebrew language, the number 20 is written with the letter “kaph,” which also represents the palm of a hand.
Jacob, for 20 years, waited to get possession of his wives and property, and to be freed from the control of Laban his father-in-law (Genesis 31:38 – 41). The children of Israel, for 20 years, waited to be freed of Jabin, king of Canaan, who oppressed them. God response was to raise up Deborah and Barak, who freed the people from bondage (Judges 4 – 5).

Genesis 31:38-41
38
This twenty years have I been with thee; thy ewes and thy she goats have not cast their young, and the rams of thy flock have I not eaten.
39
That which was torn of beasts I brought not unto thee; I bare the loss of it; of my hand didst thou require it, whether stolen by day, or stolen by night.
40
Thus I was; in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep departed from mine eyes.
41
Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times.

Judges 4:5
5
And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

The meaning of the number 21
1
And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.
2
And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.
3
And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.

Closing prayer; Heavenly Father, thank You that You are our portion, our inheritance, and our great reward. Help us to give willingly and cheerfully make our offering to You, knowing that all that we have has come from You. This we pray in Jesus’ name, AMEN.

For those who wish to become a child of Our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Dear Heavenly Father, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
