The purpose of this lesson is a continuation of our series on sins. Remember, If you do not know what God is looking at, you cannot correct any mistakes you are doing, if you do not know what is being looked at. So, God is using us as his vessels to do this for you to learn so you can teach others, and ask for forgiveness of any mistakes you have made in your life and repent.

3
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.

186.Faith is like a wave (goes in and out). James 1:6-8; 6
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

17
But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
18

For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
13
And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
14
But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?1 John 4:18; 18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. Revelation 21:8; 8

Closing Prayer;
Heavenly Father, when we start to understand that we are sinners, who do not have anything to commend us to You, how we praise and thank You for Your wonderful plan of redemption. Thank You that You sent Jesus to pay the price for the sin of the world, and that by faith in Him, our sins are forgiven, through time and into eternity. Thank You that we are declared righteous, by our association with Christ, and identified with His righteousness. Thank You that in Your grace, every sinner has the right to be forgiven of our sin, by faith in Christ.. and have a free-will to choose the good and eschew the evil. We pray that many would reach out to You today and be saved by grace through faith in Him. This we ask in Jesus name, AMEN.
We can’t earn salvation; we are saved by God’s grace when we have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. All you have to do is believe you are a sinner, that Christ died for your sins, and ask His forgiveness. Then turn from your sins—that’s called repentance. Jesus Christ knows you and loves you. What matters to Him is the attitude of your heart, your honesty. We suggest praying the following prayer to accept Christ as your Savior:
“Dear Heavenly Father, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
