Opening Prayer: Loving Father, how amazing it is to read how the fledgling Church grew and multiplied in those early days of Christianity. What a privilege it is to receive the indwelling Holy Spirit, through faith in Christ, and to know that I have received forgiveness of sin and life everlasting, by faith in Him. Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in Your Word and teach me all that You would have me to learn. Thank You for the gift of the indwelling Spirit, Who has promised to guide us into all truth. Give me a teachable spirit, remove all traces of pride, and may I walk humbly before You, all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

Paul was preaching around the world and worked with sinners along the way. Paul had found his disciples and there ended up being a total of 12. His disciples then were baptized and received the Holy Spirit. Due to something that was happening in Greece, Paul had gone to Macedonia at the time he was preaching in Greece. The lord had instructed the other disciples to move on, and Paul was instructed not to. All the above talked about how Paul would preach. It also went over about how Paul would work a lot with sinners. It is also very important that you listen to the lord very carefully because he could be trying to save you.
Due to this weekend being about thanksgiving, I wanted to bring to your attention about how this is a good time to spend with your families and reflect on needs and beliefs. It is also a good time to spend in the bible. Remember, you are never to old to hear from the lord. Thank the lord for all he has done to help you and your family over the years.

Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, we pray that whoever reads this sermon will understand it. That they will also follow through in getting to know you better. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
