Opening Hymn; The Tabernacle by The Midsouth Boys
Down by the tabernacle ohWhere the June bugs danced andthe lemonade flowedAnd we prayed and we sang ’tilthe sun sank low Laughing with out sisters and brotherDown by the tabernacle heyWhere you knew you were lovedand you wanted to stayThough the Texas heat was like judgment dayWe always enjoyed each other
We went to the river and some were baptizedClapped out hands and testifiedThen we passed around the chickenand b___ermilk pieAnd nothing ever tasted betterThen the kids played ball and thebabies just playedWhile the old men napped out under the shadeAnd the women picked flowers and sipped lemonadeAnd sat around talking together
(Chorus)
Well, I look back now & I wish I could Go back the time when life was goodWhen everybody lived the way they shouldAt least that’s the way I recallWhen black was black and white was whiteAnd everybody knew the wrong from the rightAnd we worked all day and slept all nightWe we proud and stood tall.

Scriptural reading for Sunday December 19, 2021
Numbers 8:19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.
1 Samuel 7:14 And the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron even unto Gath; and the coasts thereof did Israel deliver out of the hands of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.

Sermon;
Aaron’s sons were Nadab, Abihu, Ithamar and Eleazar. They were all supposed to be priests, but Nadab and Abihu died before they were ordained by God. They did not have any sons. Ithamar and Eleazar served as priests throughout their father’s life. The jobs performed by the Levites for the house of Aaron in the Tabernacle. Delves into the subject of proper protocols to take place when in the tabernacle. The chapter also gives an insight into the 12 leaders and tribes who comprise the people known as the Levites.
It began as God commanded Moses and Aaron to number the three sons of Levi ( Gershon , Kohath , and Merari ), and to start with Kohath. God told Moses to order the Israelites to ban from the camp those (male or female) who have skin diseases, including those who had a skin discharge or were ceremonially unclean due to a dead body. They were to be sent away from the camp so they would not defile it because God lived with them. The Israelites did as Moses told them to do. God tells Moses to tell the Israelites that if they make a special vow to God as a Nazirite then they have to refrain from wine and other drinks that are fermented. They must not consume vinegar that has been made from wine or other types of fermented drinks. They are also not to eat grapes or raisins or to drink grape juice. When they remain under the Nazirite vow, the people are not to consume anything that is from the grapevine, not the skins or seeds. The Lord commanded Moses to instruct Aaron on how the lamps and the light should be set up. All seven lights should light up the area right in front of the lampstands. Aaron did what he was told and he set the lampstands exactly how Moses said the Lord instructed him to do.
