Opening Hymn; Forgiveness by Matthew West
It’s the hardest thing to give away
And the last thing on your mind today
It always goes to those who don’t deserve
It’s the opposite of how you feel
When they pain they caused is just too real
Takes everything you have to say the word
Forgiveness, forgiveness
It flies in the face of all your pride
It moves away the mad inside
It’s always anger’s own worst enemy
Even when the jury and the judge
Say you’ve got a right to hold a grudge
It’s the whisper in your ear saying set it free
Forgiveness, forgiveness
Forgiveness, forgiveness
Show me how to love the unlovable
Show me how to reach the unreachable
Help me now to do the impossible
Forgiveness, forgiveness
Help me now to do the impossible
Forgiveness
It’ll clear the bitterness away
It can even set a prisoner free
There is no end to what its power can do
So let it go and be amazed by what you see through eyes of grace
The prisoner that it really frees is you.
Sermon Numbers Chapter 12 to 17
Moses was confronted about his marriage to a foreigner. They tried to convince moses that they knew much more about cultures and religion. God also spoke to both of them about it as well.
The lord also talked to Moses after they leave Hazeroth and settle in a desert. Moses was commanded to send spies to explore the land of Canaan.
The Israelites were singing many songs of triumph and praising the favor of Our Heavenly Father; he had delivered them from pharaohs hands. They landed in a desert and ended up in fear gnashing thier teeth.
Despite disobeying Our Heavenly Father’s commands and facing a defeat, he went to Moses and instructed him to talk to the israelites. He was to let them know that they will be given offerings along with a promised land.
This talks about Korah, Dathan, and Abiram; they were trying to find a way to fight Moses about an issue.
Korah and other Reubenites were involved in an earthquake. The next step was to find someone who could oversee the priesthood. Korah’s opinion of the whole thing was that anyone in the community can serve as a priest.
If you disobey Our Heavenly Father’s commands or do things against his will, he is very merciful and willing to forgive you. The answer to this is asking for forgiveness though his son Jesus Christ.
Closing Hymn; Praise the name of Jesus by Kent Henry;
Praise the name of Jesus
Praise the name of Jesus
He’s my rock, He’s my fortress
He’s my deliverer
In Him will I trust
Praise the name of Jesus
(Repeat)
We praise your name Lord Jesus
Closing Prayer; We pray that the people that read this message understand that it is very important to ask for forgiveness if you make a mistake, or go away from the path that you are asking them to stay on. We pray that Jesus and The Holy Spirit will help them do this. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Benediction; Go in peace and let all your friends and loved ones know what you learned this week and from today’s message. Encourage everyone you know to become children of Our Heavenly Father. We are in the ending times, very important. Have a very blessed and joyful week.
For those who wish to become a child of Our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.
Dear Heavenly Father, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
