Opening Hymn; Come, now is the time to worship by Brian Doerksen.
Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Come, just as you are before your God
Come
One day ev’ry tongue will confess You are God
One day ev’ry knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains for those
Who gladly choose you now
Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Come, just as you are before your God
Come
One day ev’ry tongue will confess You are God
One day ev’ry knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains for those,
Who gladly choose you now
Willingly we choose to surrender our lives
Willingly our knees will bow
With all our hearts, oh, mind and strength
We gladly choose you now
Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Oh, come, just as you are before your God
Come
Come
Come, oh
Come, oh
Come
Come, oh you nations
Come, come and worship
Oh, come (come and worship your maker!)
Opening prayer; Loving Father, thank You for the simplicity of the gospel of grace and for dying for us, to pay the price for our sins. We pray that you will open the eyes of our understanding to the deeper truths contained in Your Word, and that we will come to know You more each day. we pray that the eyes of many, who have been deceived by Satan’s lies, will come to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in Whose name we pray, AMEN.
Sermon:
These deal with the time we call the Great Tribulation, and once again these chapters culminate in the end of the world. Chapter 7 talks about the 144,000 and others who go through the Tribulation. The seventh seal is opened in chapter 8, and it heralds the beginning of the sounding of the Seven Trumpets of Tribulation. In chapters 8 and 9 the first six trumpets sound and result in various plagues and chastisements on the wicked. In chapter 10, the seven thunders sound to announce the seventh trumpet (the Second Coming of Jesus and the Rapture). In chapter 11 we are told that there will be two famous Endtime prophets who will be the vanguard of God’s witnesses in the Tribulation, and that three and a half days after their martyrdom, the seventh angel sounds his trumpet. In chapter 12 we learn more of the Endtime church, and in chapter 13, we are told about the Beast and the False Prophet.
So it is very important for us to straighten up and fly right before it is too late. As long as we walk with Our Heavenly Father and Jesus, repent of any sins we have done we will be ok for those who are children of God. If you are not yet a child of Our Heavenly Father you may want to think about becoming one. Your Lord and savior will really guide you if you let him. If you do this you will go to the light after death, and to heaven. If you do not do th at, you will end up with the adversary, and be in darkness and have a lot of pain effect constantly. As well as other things. in heaven you could be dancing and singing and having a real great time. How about trying to follow Jesus and being a child of Jesus. He is a lot of fun. Get to know him, how do you do this, by reading the bible, and talking with him. You will then eventually hear him. Ask him to unlock your inner strengths that you do not know about, and he will do them on his time. Remember, anything you are doing you are doing to please your Lord and savior, not to please yourself when you are a child of God. You are to give him the Glory when he does anything for you, not yourself. Just remember this, and you will have a better life doing it.
closing Hymn; To God be the glory by Francis J. Crosby
To God be the glory, great things He hath done,So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,And opened the life gate that all may go in.
Refrain:Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the earth hear His voice!Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the people rejoice!Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,And give Him the glory, great things He hath done.
Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,To every believer the promise of God;The vilest offender who truly believes,That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;But purer, and higher, and greater will beOur wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.
closing prayer; Heavenly Father, how we praise and thank You that we have access to the throne of grace for mercy to find help in time of need. Thank You that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much and that we have been called to pray without ceasing, in the knowledge that You hear and answer the prayers and petitions of all Your people. Thank You that Jesus is our heavenly High Priest and that the day is coming when His intercessions, together with those of a multitude of saints will combine on the heavenly alter as Your redemptive plan continues to be played out on the pages of history. We pray that we may complete the work You have called us to do, for Your praise and glory. This we ask in Jesus’ name, AMEN.
Benediction; Go and talk to your family, friends and colleagues about what you learned this week. Read the bible and pray with them. Have a very blessed and joyful week.
For those who wish to become a child of our heavenly Lord, or strengthen thier faith, please pray the following prayer below.
Dear Heavenly Father, I want to be a part of your family. You said in Your Word that if I acknowledge that You raised Jesus from the dead, and that I accept Him as my Lord and Savior, I would be saved. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for forgiving me, saving me, and giving me eternal life with You. Amen!”
By saying this prayer, we believe you are born again.
