Opening Hymn; Come, now is the time to worship; by Brian Doerksen;

Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Come, just as you are before your God
Come
One day ev’ry tongue will confess You are God
One day ev’ry knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains for those
Who gladly choose you now
Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Come, just as you are before your God
Come
One day ev’ry tongue will confess You are God
One day ev’ry knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains for those,
Who gladly choose you now
Willingly we choose to surrender our lives
Willingly our knees will bow
With all our hearts, oh, mind and strength
We gladly choose you now

Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Oh, come, just as you are before your God
Come
Come
Come, oh
Come, oh
Come
Come, oh you nations
Come, come and worship
Oh, come (come and worship your maker!)

Opening prayer;
Loving Father, keep us from evil – but we pray that when troubles and hardships come my way that we may trust you implicitly and by faith, rest in the truth of Your word, knowing that You work all things for good – Thank You that Your grace is always sufficient, no matter what we face, in Jesus name we pray, AMEN.

These are the last three chapters of Genesis and the first 3 chapters of Exodus. The top half is Genesis and the bottom half is Exodus.

Jacob’s final words were recorded as he gave a blessing from God unto the sons of Joseph. The 21 verses depict the details of the blessing and the prediction that Ephraim’s lineage would be greater than that of Manasseh’s. Zebulun would dwell by the seashore and do business by the sea. Issachar became a servant to tribute, Dan would judge his people, and Gad would overcome in the end. Asher’s bread would be fat, good enough for a king, and Naphtali would give good wise words.
Joseph and the family are grieving the death of their father Jacob. Joseph has Jacob embalmed and prepared for burial and transport back to the land of Canaan. The Egyptians joined Joseph and his family in mourning for Israel 70 days. God’s faithfulness to His pledge of having the Israelites prosper in Egypt despite the resistance they encounter from Pharaoh. Moses rescued the daughters who mistook him for an Egyptian. Moses eventually married one of the priest’s daughters named Zipporah and they had a son named Gershom. The king of Egypt died, but the bondage continued. The Israelites cried to their God, who did not forget His promises to their ancestors.
We learn about an important episode in the life of Moses. While he was on a mountain, God spoke to him through a burning bush. However, even though the bush was on fire, it was not consumed. God told Moses to remove his shoes as he was standing on holy land. Moses was afraid to look at the Lord and he hid his face in his hands.

In Jacobs case he probably knew he was dying, and he handed everything to Joseph to carry on his legacy, and to save souls. If you had paid attention to your lessons this would h ave made sense. You should always have someone to carry on your legacy when you go. You should earthly wise always have a will for what goes where. But you should always follow the lord even with that. In Moses’s case because he could not look at the Lord in the bush, he should have done what Jesus told him to do which was throw his shoes in the fire, then he should have asked for forgiveness and repented, and should have looked Jesus in the eye after he sinned. Remember to go to your Heavenly Father and ask for forgiveness if you sin, and repent. Do not let yourself end up in Satan’s hands. All you have to do is go to your Heavenly Father and do what he says and ask for forgiveness.

Closing prayer; Heavenly Father we pray that people all over the world get an understanding of what happened, and get to walk and talk with you any way they can and understand it is ok to talk with you, and they understand to obey you and walk with you. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Benediction; Go in peace and let all your friends, and family know about what you learned this week, and the message you recieved today. Have a very blessed and joyful week.

For those who wish to become a child of our heavenly Lord, or strengthen thier faith, please pray the following prayer below.

Dear Heavenly Father, I want to be a part of your family. You said in Your Word that if I acknowledge that You raised Jesus from the dead, and that I accept Him as my Lord and Savior, I would be saved. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for forgiving me, saving me, and giving me eternal life with You. Amen!”
By saying this prayer, we believe you are born again.
