Loving Father, praise Your name for the Lord Jesus Christ Who is the Word of life. Announcements; If we have technical difficulties with this site, please be advised that we have another site called www.raynettekweissministries.world. This is really for children, but have found that adults like it as well. This is only if we have technical difficulties.

Prayer requests; Please pray for our world, that they learn about Jesus and our Heavenly Father. That they stop this foolishness of hurting each other’s countries. Our Heavenly Father really does not want this, and it is not too late to get some peace in the world. For the world to turn around and have joy and peace. pray for those that have lost due to destruction and sickness. Learn how to walk with Jesus through this time of the end of the world as we know it. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Sermon for May 16th

From 1 John

Emphasizes the way God’s love removes the natural human fear of rejection. Fear is a punishment of its own, and those who do not believe have reason to fear judgment. Believers, on the other hand, have confidence. Not only has Christ forgiven our sins, but He gives us God’s love.
Begins with the calling for unification of all believers through the love of God. They will obey his commandments. With this, they must also acknowledge those who sin against them and not reject the sinner, but understand their shortcomings which enslave them in many respects. According to John, faith is all that matters when all is said and done. By Christ’s example, the people must overcome the world and not allow the world to overcome them.

Book of 2 John only one chapter

2nd John is a General Epistle (Apostolic Letter). It is written by the Disciple/Apostle John around 85-95 A.D. Key personality is John. It was written to encourage all Christians not to lose focus of Jesus Christ and to warn against persistent heresy. His key purpose is that his children (the children of God) may abide in the truth and the truth may abide in them.

Book of 3 John only one chapter

John described how wonderful the love of God is for His people and how hope, as His loving children, should motivate us to lead pure lives. John said that believers should live a righteous life since they can differentiate between good and evil.

Book of Jude only one chapter

Jude, who was a disciple of Jesus and may have been one of His relatives. In this epistle, Jude first greeted his followers with mercy, peace, and love before getting to the core of his message.
Jude’s purpose in his letter was twofold: he wanted to expose the false teachers that had infiltrated the Christian community, and he wanted to encourage Christians to stand firm in the faith and fight for the truth. Jude recognized that false teachers often peddled their wares unnoticed by the faithful, so he worked to heighten the awareness of the believers by describing in vivid detail how terrible dissenters actually were. But more than simply raising awareness, Jude thought it important that believers stand against those working against Jesus Christ. Believers were to do this by remembering the teaching of the apostles, building each other up in the faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, and keeping themselves in the love of God.

Closing Hymn; Faith of our Father’s Hymnonry.com

1 *Faith of the martyrs, living still
in spite of dungeon, fire, and sword;
oh, how our hearts beat high with joy
whene’er we hear that glorious word!

Refrain:
Faith of the martyrs, holy faith,
we will be true to thee till death.

2 The martyrs chained in prison cells
were still in heart and conscience free,
and bless’d would be their children’s fate
if they, like them, should die for thee! [Refrain]

3 Faith of the martyrs, we will love
both friend and foe in all our strife,
and preach thee, too, as love knows how,
by saving word and faithful life! [Refrain]

Closing prayer; Heavenly Father

Give us wisdom and understanding to know how to address issues that are causing conflict between our brothers and sisters in Christ. Help us to contend earnestly the faith that was once delivered to the saints and which is recorded in the Word of God – but we pray that we may do it with wisdom and love – in Jesus name we pray, AMEN.

For those who wish to become a child of our heavenly Lord, or strengthen thier faith, please pray the following prayer below.

Dear Heavenly Father, I want to be a part of your family. You said in Your Word that if I acknowledge that You raised Jesus from the dead, and that I accept Him as my Lord and Savior, I would be saved. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for forgiving me, saving me, and giving me eternal life with You. Amen!”
By saying this prayer, we believe you are born again.

Benediction; Please learn that from this lesson and also remember that whatever you do doown here on earth you will be judged for on judgement day. Whether you are christian or athiest you will be judged. We are not to judge people, we are to take care of our heavenly father’s earth. We are to live in his glory and be an image of him. Let us start thinking about that before it is too late. I hope you sh are are this information with your friends, family, co workers and anyone else you know and have a good week. Go in peace and spread the word.
