- You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Do not set people up, or lie on them.
“Exodus 20:16 Do not accuse anyone falsely.
Thou dost not answer against thy neighbour a false testimony.
- You shall not covet.
Covet” is most commonly defined as “desire.” To covet something means to desire it and for a person to want to take it for themselves.
Romans 7:7 What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
Deuteronomy 5:21‘And you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. And you shall not desire your neighbor’s house, his field, or his male servant, or his female servant, his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.’
Closing prayer; Lord Jesus, we ask you to forgive us for all our sins, trespasses and transgressions and to cover all our offenses with your most precious blood. Surround us with your light and penetrate the very depths of our being with your love. Let no area of darkness remain in us, but transform our whole being with the healing light of your infinite love.
For those who wish to become a child of Our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.
Dear Heavenly Father, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
