- “He is near who justifies me; who will bring charges against me? Let us stand up together: who is my adversary? Let him come near to me.”

- “He has torn me in his wrath, and persecuted me. He has gnashed on me with his teeth. My adversary sharpens his eyes on me.”

- “Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, everyone of them, shall go into captivity.”
Lesson:
This week we are going to talk about the adversary and how to handle the adversary, in the least painful way. There are new ways coming out.
Satan and his lesser satans act as Our Heavenly Father’s executioners: they tempt into sin, accuse sinners for their misdeeds, and finally execute divine judgment as angels of punishment.The enemy has a plan for your life: to steal, kill, and destroy. God calls us to “be alert and of sober mind,” watching out for the schemes of the devil who “prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8). The adversary who is also called the enemy will do anything to make you be bad. 2 examples of this is that he can trick people into sinning. He will let people have what they want, and it can turn out to be a sin. Anything that is against your Heavenly Father is a sin, and it can be caused in hundreds of ways, and you need to be mindful of that. He can cause things to happen that You did not realize you did or had done and it was sinning, so if you do not repent Our Heavenly Father will send you that way. He really does not want to, he would rather you be a child of his, and be with his son and the Holy Spirit. But we have a choice, and if we make the wrong choice we could end up with the adversary unless you repent. The adversary loves to get in the way of ministries, he really hates people that love Our Heavenly Father, but if you do not allow this the adversary cannot do anything. He does not know anything unless you make a mistake. It is very important to watch out that you do not get tricked by the adversary. If someone does something to you that is bad, that is the adversary causing them to do it. An example of this is if you have on the news, and a reporter asks a person they are interviewing what made them do a certain act, and the person says a voice inside me kept telling me to do it. That is the adversary.
Closing Prayer: “Heavenly Father, we come before you today seeking your protection against the adversary. We stand firm in your power and authority, claiming the armor of God to shield us from all evil attacks. With the helmet of salvation on our heads, the breastplate of righteousness over our hearts, and the shield of faith in our hands, we resist the enemy’s schemes and stand against his fiery darts. Lord, surround us with your presence, keep our minds focused on your truth, and guide our steps away from temptation. In Jesus’ name, We pray.
Lord Jesus take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
