Opening Hymn: With a humble heart and gentle hand by Dylan Laine:

Verse 1:

With humble heart and gentle hand,

We seek to walk as Christ has planned.

In unity, our spirits blend,

Love’s gentle path, a faithful friend.

Verse 2:

Bearing with one another’s flaws,

Obeying love’s forgiving laws.

Patience we seek, with open eyes,

Reflecting Christ in our replies.

Verse 3:

Let every effort be combined,

To keep the peace within our mind.

The Spirit’s bond, a sacred tie,

As through this world we humbly fly.

Verse 4:

May love’s sweet grace our actions guide,

With Christ as our eternal guide.

In every deed, let mercy gleam,

Fulfilling love’s enduring dream.

Sermon:

Ephesians 4:2 calls for a way of life that reflects the character of Christ, fostering unity and harmony within the Christian community.
The psalm 91 highlights The Heavenly Father’s faithfulness, love, and active involvement in the lives of those who trust in Him. The Heavenly Father is a shield and fortress, offering safety from various dangers like terror, pestilence, and evil. Reciting and meditating on this psalm is believed to active. Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 6:3 is a direct response to the hypocrisy of some religious leaders who performed their religious duties publicly to gain attention and praise. It means that one should not draw attention to their good deeds, even to those close to them. It is part of a larger section (Matthew 6:1-18) where Jesus addresses religious practices like giving, prayer, and fasting, warning against hypocrisy and urging sincerity in these actions.

One truth taught in Mark 4–5 is that faith and fear are incompatible. In both Mark 4:40 and Mark 5:36, the Savior admonished those He taught to replace their fear with faith in Him. Many Christians use Independance day to pray for their nation, asking for Our Heavenly Father’s continued blessings and guidance, and for the preservation of its freedoms.
Some Christian publications note that the day can be an opportunity to be grateful for the freedoms enjoyed and to consider one’s responsibilities as a citizen.
Let us show the world, that
Independence Day 2025, we will trust and serve God. Then, we will have a real reason to celebrate.

Closing Prayer:

“Heavenly Father, I come before you today, recognizing my need for your Holy Spirit to guide and transform my life. I acknowledge that I am prone to the desires of the flesh, which lead to conflict and division. I pray that you would help me crucify my flesh with its passions and desires, and that I would instead be led by your Spirit.

Our lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
