Raynette K Weiss Ministries run by Our Heavenly Father  and Rev. Pastor Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant MinisterJessie K. Weiss. We are two vessels of Our Heavenly Father. How does Our Heavenly Father feel about people breaking up marriages. Thursday February 6, 2025.

1 Corinthians 7:10-11 – But for those who are married, I have a command that comes not from me, but from the Lord. A wife must not leave her husband. But if she does leave him, let her remain single or else be reconciled to him. And the husband must not leave his wife.

Titus 3:1.Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,

2 Corinthians 6:14.Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness

Lesson:

Our Heavenly Father gets very happy and rejoices when two people get married, in fact it is a gift and blessing from him when it happens. However today people try to break up that happy union between a couple. It can be a stranger, or even someone you know and trust. Our Heavenly Father does not approve of someone interfering in a marriage or breaking it up. To him this would be causing someone to commit a sin.

God’s covenant with God’s people is often compared to a marriage, and thus marriage holds a high and sacred place in our Scriptures. Malachi 2:16 is the verse most often cited regarding divorce: “For I hate divorce, says the Lord.” Interestingly, though, the verse goes on to talk about God’s equal hatred of violence. In the first, Matthew quotes Jesus as saying: “It was also said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, except on the grounds of porneia (sexual immorality), makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.” (Matthew 5:31-32)The Bible recognizes here the harsh reality of our capacity for depravity and sinfulness. This sinfulness may lead to a break in the marital covenant that the unbelieving partner refuses to repair. To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. Our Heavenly Father especially does not like marriages broken up between a couple that is challenged. Remember people with challenges are a gift from Our Heavenly Father. The Bible says that God designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment, but that divorce is permitted in certain circumstances. The Bible also says that marriages can be broken by adultery, abuse, and abandonment. The church believes adultery, divorce, remarriage after divorce, marriage without the intent to transmit life, polygamy, incest, child abuse, free union, and trial marriage are sins against the dignity of marriage. This is all true, but if you are spiritual halves meaning each other’s flame, you have more ability to do things. Always remember to pray and ask Our Heavenly Father if the person is your spiritual half, before you take that step. Also, if an original spiritual half of a person passes on, Our. Heavenly Father will assign another from the tribe that can take the place of that half. We will explore more about spiritual halves a little deeper in another lesson.

Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, we come before you today, hearts heavy with the threat of our marriage breaking apart. We plead for your intervention, your healing power to mend the cracks in our union and restore the love we once shared. Strengthen our commitment to one another, guide us to forgiveness and understanding, and grant us the wisdom to navigate through these challenges together. We believe in the sanctity of marriage, and we ask that you renew our vows, bringing us closer to each other and to you. In Jesus’ name,

  • Lord help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
