Isaiah 64:7 – “Yet, Lord, you are our father; we are the clay and you our potter: we are all the work of your hand.”

Lesson:
The Heavenly Father, or God, is a term used in theology to refer to God. The Bible describe God’s attributes and how God loves and guides people.
According to many Christian denominations, our Heavenly Father has many attributes, including love, mercy, and wisdom.
Love Heavenly Father is love, He loves us unconditionally, He sent his son to save those who believe, and He rejoices when we return to him.
Mercy
- He is long-suffering and compassionate
- He forgives us when we make mistakes
- He weeps for us when we suffer
Wisdom
- He is the source of wisdom and truth
- He guides us and gives us experiences to help us grow
- He counsels with us when we ask
Other attributes
- He is perfect, just, and righteous
- He is unchanging and always present
- He knows each of us by name
- He provides for our needs
- He delivers us from evil
- He gives us the Holy Ghost
He is a God of righteousness, with attributes such as love, mercy, charity, truth, power, faith, knowledge, and judgment. He has all power. He knows all things.
God the Father: 4 fatherly traits dads should emulate · 1. God the Father is slow to anger · 2. God fulfills His promise · 3. God answers the call.
He is also eternally a loving, caring Father who takes care of His children. He teaches them, meets their needs, loves them, protects them, forgives them, imparts life to them, and is always with them.
He is a good, good Father.God wanted a man’s children to know Him as their Father, pray to Him as Father, trust Him as their Father, receive His teaching, discipline, and blessing as their Father, run to Him as their refuge and protection as our Father, receive His instruction as our Father, submit to Him as our Father, and become an intimate.
Attributes of God
- Just: God is perfectly just.
- Merciful: God is merciful and compassionate.
- Kind: God is kind and long-suffering.
- Loving: God is love.
- Eternal: God is endless and eternal.
- Righteous: God is righteous.
- Strong: God is strong.
- Closing prayer: Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, thank you for creating man in your own image and after your likeness. May those qualities of your goodness, righteousness, strength, and compassion reign in my life”.
- Lord help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
