The Proverb says that a “word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver” (25:11). Our words can get us into trouble very quickly, so let us guard our tongue, “lest he who hears you bring shame upon you, and your ill repute have no end” (Prov 25:10).
When you hear about something negative, or even think something negative, you can make yourself to lose your own blessings from the lord. This is because these thoughts go to your soul and then to your heart if you dwell on them too much. There is another verse besides the two listed that says.
A fool can be found in a multitude of words. Ecclesiastes 10:14 and fools multiply words. No one knows what is coming— who can tell someone else what will happen after them? Watch what you say, how you say it, and what you take in. The moral lesson of this is watch what you say, how you say it and what you repeat back. We are all guilty of this, so all we can do is ask for forgiveness and repent.
The word fool today usually means “a senseless fellow, a dullard.” The biblical definition has the added dimension of “someone who disregards God’s Word.” The Bible lists many characteristics of such a person, often contrasting him with one who is wise. One of the unfortunate t things out of all of this is that we like to blame the adversary for getting things we do not deserve, when in fact there are times it is our own doing that causes us not to get the blessings we deserve. We only do these types of lessons to let you know what to watch out for, and we all are guilty of doing things like this. This is due to how we think on earth. But when we go home that is eternal. Therefore we should strive to stop doing these acts, and ask for forgiveness and repent, and try not to do the acts again. Your Heavenly Father will forgive you if you ask him. If you do not remember to ask for forgiveness and repent and mean it,
you could be in trouble.
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we pray that all who read this lesson watch what they say and how, and remember to ask for forgiveness and repent and try not to do the acts anymore. We thank you for your patience and understanding. In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.
Prayer of Salvation: Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior.Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
