1 Corinthians 1:30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from Godthat is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
James 1:23-25 – For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Romans 12:6-8, we learn that everyone has different gifts. These come from God’s grace, unique just like us. We should use our skills to help each other in the body of Christ. If you can prophesy, do it with strong faith. Serve well if helping others is your talent. Teach with dedication and encourage with patience.
Galations 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Psalm 37:5. “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.” Proverbs 16:3. “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
Proverbs 17:9 shows forgiveness brings happiness too. When we forgive, we keep our friends close and make our hearts light. Scriptures also talk about finding joy in tough times.
1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction, and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Live in peace with one another.
Lesson:
Everyone has a purpose in the eyes of Our Heavenly Father.
How do you tell what your purpose is in life.
- Identify the things you care about. …
- Reflect on what matters most. …
- Recognize your strengths and talents. …
- Try volunteering. …
- Imagine your best possible self. …
- Cultivate positive emotions like gratitude and awe. …
- Look to the people you admire.
Identifying the things you care about is the number one way you can tell your purpose in life.
Luke 6:30: “Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back.
Romans 12:10: “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
Reflect on what matters most:reflection means to consider and think about something that has happened before. You bring it back to the forefront and think about it. What can we learn from Jesus’ words? Jesus is a perfect reflection of his Father.By identifying your core values, clarifying your priorities, setting meaningful goals, and finding your purpose, you can create a life in harmony with what matters most. So, pause, reflect, and embark on discovering and living a life that resonates with your deepest values and aspirations. Reflection is also important so you can have peace. it is important to reflect what is going on in your life so you can have the peace your Heavenly Father wants you to have. It is also a chance to bring memories back so you can deal with them so they do not bother you anymore.Sometimes in our lives we do things that haunt us because we cannot forgive and forget about it, or repent if it is something bad. This is also part of self examination. By examining who we are from time to time, we ask Our Heavenly Father to show us if we have acted in a way befitting a believer in God. If we ask him, Our Heavenly Father will give us a better understanding of who we are, and, not only that, will help us to improve ourselves and our lives. If we ask for forgiveness Our Heavenly Father will throw it into the sea, and we will not remember it.
Recognize stregnth and talents: There are various ways to find what you are good at including:
Prayer: Matthew 7:7 tells us to ask, seek and knock. …
Asking Others: Asking others can also give us an idea about our talents.
Pay Attention to What You Enjoy: What activities do you enjoy? …
Practice: Talents do not develop overnight.
Try Volunteering:The Bible repeatedly expresses the need for Christians to be of service and to fulfill the calling that God has ordained for them. 1 Peter 4:10 states, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” Volunteering is an excellent way to express your faith through work. It is important to always serve the lord in some way, every christian should do this, such as cleaning up the church, helping with a meal, helping with other things the church needs, and even helping someone in a nursing home. Public service is also volunteering. Let Our Heavenly Father lead you in this topic, let him lead you.
Imagine your best possible self:
Our Heavenly Father warns us not to trust in the world’s philosophies, especially when they contradict His Word. “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5)
The following Bible verses will help you see yourself as God sees you.
- I am a child of Our Heavenly Father and I belong to Him. …
- I am loved by Our Heavenly Father and nothing can separate me from His love. …
- I am chosen by God. …
- I am forgiven and my sin-debt is paid. …
- I am strengthened for all tasks to which God calls me. …
- The Holy Spirit is with me.
Cultivate positive emotions like gratitude and awe:
How to honor God with your emotions?
- Confess and surrender your emotions to God. It’s easier to glorify God when we’re experiencing positive emotions. …
- Speak to your emotions with Scripture. There have been seasons when I was gripped by fear. …
- Turn your emotions into actions.
Look to the people you admire:
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Comment: We hope and pray that everyone reading this takes it very seriously. This is one of the most important things you can do with your lord and savior and for him. Not many people touch on these subjects but it is important for when people become christians. Some of the other lessons we did are just as important as this one. The bible calls us to do this. We encourage you to do this.
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we thank you for helping us with this lesson and we ask that you help everyone understand this lesson, or the Holy Spirit to help. We pray again in hopes that the lesson is taken seriously because it is important to them that they do so. We pray this in the name of Our lord and savior.
This prayer below is also called the sinners prayer, and it gets people to.become a child of Our Heavenly Father or strengthens thier faith within him whenever they are already a child of Our Heavenly Father
