By the end of the day in the book of Revelation all the blessings and protections of the lord are on the people.
Revelation 21:1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
and there is no longer
any sea. And I saw the holy
city, new Jerusalem,
coming down out of
heaven from God, prepared
as a bride adorned for her
husband.”
Revelation 21:5 Then the One sitting on the throne spoke. ‘Look, I am making the whole of creation new. Write this, “What I am saying is trustworthy and will come true.”
In 2 Cor. 5:17, Paul writes,
“…if anyone is in Messiah, he is a
new creation; the old has gone, the
new has come!” In Gal. 6:15, Paul
further emphasizes this, “Neither
circumcision nor uncircumcision
means anything; what counts is the
new creation.“ The renewal of
God’s people has already begun.
Revelation 21:10-14 21:10 In the spirit, he carried me to the top of a very high mountain, and showed me Jerusalem, the holy city, coming down out of heaven from God.
21:11 It had all the glory of God and glittered like some precious jewel of crystal-clear diamond.
21:12 Its wall was of a great height and had twelve gates; at each of the twelve gates there was an angel, and over the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel;
21:13 on the east there were three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates.
21:14 The city walls stood on twelve foundation stones, each one of which bore the name of one of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Rome was the example of a prostitute reading texts. Jerusalem is an example of thepeople of Our Heavenly Father being his bride. There are 12 tribes that are pointed out by Appostle John.
The sea at times will show a world with trouble. But people in future generations will live in a world without any trouble and not a world without seas.
Heaven and Earth will become new. Jerusalem will go through some changes, and become a bride. This means that this city will have a human way about it. The relationship and bond is between Our Heavenly Father and his people.
Jewish language and writing is traced back to ancient history. It points Jerusalem as The bride of Our Heavenly Father. During a celebration called a Shaeva Brachot, a jewish wedding is given seven blessings. 5 of the blessings are given to the bride and groom. It is more about the couple getting married and the return of people in exile.
The sixth wedding blessing petitions Our Heavenly Father to wish lots of joy on the
“beloved companions” (referring to the
bride and groom) as God did in the Garden of Eden.
Isaiah 62:5Like a young man marrying a virgin, your rebuilder will wed you, and as the bridegroom rejoices in his bride, so will your God rejoice in you.
Ezekiel 47:1-12 47:1 He brought me back to the entrance of the Temple, where a stream flowed eastwards from under the Temple threshold, for the Temple faced east. The water flowed from under the right side of the Temple, south of the altar.
47:2 He took me out by the north gate and led me right round outside as far as the outer east gate where the water flowed out on the right-hand side.
47:3 The man went off to the east holding his measuring line and measured off a thousand cubits; he then made me wade across the stream; the water reached my ankles.
47:4 He measured off another thousand and made me wade across the stream again; the water reached my knees. He measured off another thousand and made me wade across the stream again; the water reached my waist.
47:5 He measured off another thousand; it was now a river which I could not cross; the stream had swollen and was now deep water, a river impossible to cross.
47:6 He then said, ‘Do you see, son of man?’ He then took me and brought me back to the bank on the river.
47:7 Now, when I reached it, I saw an enormous number of trees on each bank of the river.
47:8 He said, ‘This water flows east down to the Arabah and to the sea; and flowing into the sea it makes its waters wholesome.
47:9 Wherever the river flows, all living creatures teeming in it will live. Fish will be very plentiful, for wherever the water goes it brings health, and life teems wherever the river flows.
47:10 There will be fishermen on its banks. Fishing nets will be spread from En-Gedi to En-Eglaim. The species of fish will be the same as the fish of the Great Sea.
47:11 The marshes and lagoons, however, will not become wholesome, but will remain salt.
47:12 Along the river, on either bank, will grow every kind of fruit tree with leaves that never wither and fruit that never fails; they will bear new fruit every month, because this water comes from the sanctuary. And their fruit will be good to eat and the leaves medicinal.’
John 7:37-38; 7:37 On the last day, the great day of the festival, Jesus stood and cried out: ‘Let anyone who is thirsty come to me!
7:38 Let anyone who believes in me come and drink! As scripture says, “From his heart shall flow streams of living water.
Our Heavenly Father has other plans for the new world than just the rebuilding of Jerusalem and Heaven.
In Torah, the priestly breastplate
was square with 12 stones (Ex.
28:16). The Tabernacle altar was
square (Ex. 27:1; 30:2). The
Holy of Holies in Solomon’s
Temple was cubical (1 Kings
6:20), and Ezekiel 45:2 depicts a
temple with a square layout.
Verses 15-17 tell us that the city
was a geometrically perfect
square, equal in every direction.
When the angel measured it, the
city was 144 cubits (12×12).
The new Jerusalem would have many gates, most made of white peals. There would be no temple in the city however.
Revelation 21:22-23 21:22 I could not see any temple in the city since the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb were themselves the temple,
21:23 and the city did not need the sun or the moon for light, since it was lit by the radiant glory of God, and the Lamb was a lighted torch for it.
Most tents and Temple help make a connection between Israel and Our Heavenly Father. But the new world would have a lot of his presence in it and not have any people being segregated they would be always allowed together no matter what.
Without End:
Revelation 22:1-2 22:1 Then the angel showed me the river of life, rising from the throne of God and of the Lamb and flowing crystal-clear.
22:2 Down the middle of the city street, on either bank of the river were the trees of life, which bear twelve crops of fruit in a year, one in each month, and the leaves of which are the cure for the nations.
One symbol that can be found in Jewish writings is about life and water. It shows where the climates in east and west have a scarce level of water. Jerusalem did not have much of a river at the time.
Many words are spoken during the time of sukkot. it also focuses on water being taken from the temple in Moriah. It was done over again 7 days according to the book of John.
There are 4 gospel books and out of them all John talks more about temples than any of them. It also focusses on the sukkot as mentioned above. John also wrote the book of Revelation as well. It describes the new earth becoming a temple like area too. John also shows where a tree is standing with 12 fruit types on it. It is beside a river of life. It helps with lots of healings.
Revelation 22:3-5 22:3 The curse of destruction will be abolished. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city; his servants will worship him,
22:4 they will see him face to face, and his name will be written on their foreheads.
22:5 And night will be abolished; they will not need lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will be shining on them. They will reign for ever and ever.
Many things that were a temporary object got replaced with something permanent. When the Heavenly Father and Jesus did not live on earth there was other types of celestial beings. Later on they start to live with the people on earth. They will also receive his mark on them for eternity.
Revelation 22:6-7 22:6 The angel said to me, ‘All that you have written is sure and will come true: the Lord God who inspires the prophets has sent his angel to reveal to his servants what is soon to take place.
22:7 I am coming soon!’ Blessed are those who keep the prophetic message of this book.
According to John, the fulfillment of the prophecy is not
for some distant future far removed, but it’s near.
Those who hear the words of these prophetic visions
must understand that these words are addressed to
them. For each one of us, we must know that our
salvation is coming soon because our Lord will not
hesitate to act on our behalf. So, in some ways, we
should take these words as coming true for us today.
“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the
one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who
is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the
water of life without cost.” (Rev. 22:17).
Both the bride and the Holy Spirit call to Jesus to come. Many people when they hear these two voices they are asked to join with faith and many voices with the will of them.
John’s apocalyptic narrative, far
from being an esoteric puzzle, is a
clear call for spiritual resilience. His
vivid imagery of the cataclysmic last
days and the ultimate triumph of
good over evil serves as a beacon
of hope for Israel and those who
participate in worship alongside
them through the Jewish Christ.
Most of the apocalyptic interactions cause a devine outpouring of justice and a redeemed spirit.
The book of Revelation pushes for a strong faith that lasts a long time and hope that carries us through a hard time. After reading this book we can understand that distance from trial and tribulation a time that is glorious is waiting for many that will overcome.
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father, When we truly reflect on Who You are, our Lord and our God, and that You left Your heavenly throne of splendor and came to earth to suffer a life of humiliation and death – and all for love of us, how can it be? Thank You, our Father, for sending Jesus to be our Saviour. Thank You, Jesus, for dying for our sin and for the gift of eternal life. Thank You, Lord Jesus, our Saviour and Lord, AMEN.
Prayer of Salvation to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, we confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
