As we pray to our Heavenly Father, we should tell Him what we really feel in our hearts, confide in Him, ask Him for forgiveness, plead with Him, thank Him, express our love for Him. We should not repeat meaningless words and phrases (see Matthew 6:7–8).
Philippians 4:6 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Mark 11:24 – Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Matthew 6:7-8 6:7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
6:8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
Our Heavenly Father
hears your prayers no matter when or where you’re praying. Just look at the Bible. People pray in houses, in closets, on mountaintops, in deserts, late at night, early in the morning, before meals, and after battles. So maybe it doesn’t really matter where your body is during prayer and at what time you pray. It is also important to always remember to pray in a place that is quiet, where no one will interrupt you. It will also be so quiet that when Our Heavenly Father wants to speak to you, you will hear him. It also depends what your level is with him to how he will speak to you. Always get into your bibles, this way the level can develop higher and higher. Always find time during the day at work, or before a meal, before bed, and when getting up in the morning. If you are wondering what task you need to do for the day, ask Our Heavenly Father to let you know what to do and when. He will let you know, and he will also show you in visions at times. Again, this all depends on what level you are with him.
Matthew 6:5-14
5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen.
Closing prayer; Heavenly Father, please give us the grace to quiet down inside so as to become aware of Your love for us. Heavenly Father, we want to spend this time with You. Help us to give You our full attention & to pray from our hearts. In Jesus name, Amen.
Prayer of Salvation to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
