Opening Hymn: Right away by Bebe and Cece Winans;
What we need is urgency
I know you’ll all agree
We need love and honesty
To help in times like these
Our young facing tragedies
In ways you can’t believe
Finally can we see
We must demand integrity
Now there will always be problems
And I know (it’s the way it is)
And you know (just the way it is)
Just need love to solve them
Right away, I need love right away
Right away, right away
Need love, right away, right away
Said we need you
Right away, right away
Need love, right away, right away
Said we need you
Say we need love
Fancy free, liberty
Has it caused values to leave
I live for me, you live for you
They say do what you want to do
Now there will always be problems
And I know (it’s the way it is)
And you know (just the way it is)
Just need love to solve them
Right away
Right away, right away
Need love, right away, right away
Said we need you
Right away, right away
Need love, right away, right away
Said we need you
Say we need you
We need love, we need love
Come on we need you
Love is just the answer
Now’s the time to give love
Learn to love each other
Right now and the rest of our life
See there will always be problems
And I know (it’s the way it is)
And you know (just the way it is)
Just need love to solve them
Right away
Right away, right away
Need love, right away, right away
Said if we’re gonna make it
Right away, right away
Said if we’re gonna make it
Need love, right away, right away
Right away, right away
Let’s say it, we need love
Right away, right away
Right away, right away
If we’re gonna change the world
Right away, right away
1 and 2 Timothy Encourages believers to focus on Jesus, and to look to Him for our salvation, as well as our source of strength, faith and love. Titus and Philemon summarizes many important details of exegesis that should be considered in studying the biblical text. The book of Hebrews compares and contrasts Jesus to key historical people and events from the Hebrew Bible. Through these comparisons, we see his superiority. Hebrews, James, and 1 Peter are the first three of eight general epistles found near the end of the New Testament. All three letters were written by different authors: Hebrews probably by the apostle Paul, James by James the eldest brother of Jesus, and 1 Peter by the apostle Peter. These three letters also had different recipients. It is assumed that Hebrews was written to primarily Jewish Christians who had been scattered across the known world.
Peter taught in 2 Peter Chapter 1 that those who truly choose to know the Lord would be blessed. In addition, those who studied the Word and put it into practice in their lives were walking a path towards many rewards. Second and Third John and Jude all focus on the truth about bad religion and how Christians must take a stand against bad teaching, bad leading, and bad living within the church.
Closing Hymn; Lord I lift your name on high by The Marantha praise band;
Lord I lift Your name on high
Lord I love to sing Your praises
I’m so glad You’re in my life
I’m so glad You came to save us
You came from heaven to earth to show the way
From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay
From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky
Lord I lift Your name on high
Lord I lift Your name on high
Lord I love to sing Your praises
I’m so glad You’re in my life
I’m so glad You came to save us
You came from heaven to earth to show the way
From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay
From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky
Lord I lift Your name on high
You came from heaven to earth to show the way
From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay
From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky
Lord I lift Your name on high
You came from heaven to earth to show the way
From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay
From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky
Lord I lift Your name on high
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we lift our hearts in praise to our Savior, and as your loved children and your redeemed servants, we lay our lives before you in worship. Forgive us our sins, guide us by your Spirit into repentance, and make us bold proclaimers of your Word. We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
Prayer of Salvation: Which is how you ask to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
