Raynette K Weiss Ministries run by Our lord and on earth by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Jessie K. Weiss Assistant Minister as the lord’s vessels. How does our heavenly father feel about people that scam people. Monday November 4, 2024.

Proverbs 14:15 says, “The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.” If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.

1 Thessalonians 4:6 that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.

Proverbs 6:16-19 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, 19 a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

Proverbs 13:11-12 Money gained by cheating others will soon be gone. Money earned through hard work will grow and grow. Hope that is delayed makes you sad, but a wish that comes true fills you with joy.

Lesson:

Getting scammed can also impact a person’s self-esteem and self-confidence. “People usually blame themselves for falling for a scam, which makes them question their judgment, abilities, and intelligence. Once you start questioning that, your self-esteem can take a hit as well,” explains Dr. Schiff. Punishment usually includes a prison sentence, an order of restitution to make the victim whole again, and fines. State and federal laws determine the criminal penalties for fraud. For example, state law may deem fraud a misdemeanor or felony based on the amount of money the fraudster obtains.

Emotional Manipulation: Scammers often use emotional tactics to exploit victims, fostering feelings of trust, friendship, or even love. As a result, victims may find it hard to accept that they were taken advantage of by someone they perceived as caring or genuine. If you think someone you know is being, or has been, targeted by scammers, try to speak to them about it. It’s common for people to feel ashamed or embarrassed if they have fallen victim to a scam. You should reassure them that this isn’t their fault; scammers use tactics that can trick anyone.

It is important to recognise that scams are a form of financial abuse and therefore should be referred to in safeguarding policies, having the requisite practice guidance to ensure that victims are effectively supported locally.

Here are some tips on how to convince a loved one that they are being scammed:

  1. Present the facts: Gather evidence and present it to your loved one in a clear and factual manner. …
  2. Ask questions: Encourage your loved one to ask the scammer questions that only someone who is telling the truth would be able to answer.
