Matthew 10:28 – “And do not become fearful of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, fear him who can destroy both soul and spirit.
Proverbs 26:19, says: Like a maniac shooting flaming arrows of death is one who deceives their neighbor and says, “ I was only joking!”.
Matthew 10:28 also has Jesus teaching us to fear God, rather than man: Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.

Lesson:
So, what does God say about fear? The answer is pretty simple, do not be afraid for He is with us. May we rest in the words of Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Scare tactics typically don’t work. Scare tactics use fear as the motivator in an attempt to wake people up and get them to respond to the gospel.
Is it a sin to be fearful? No it is not a sin to be afraid jesus was afraid ,he prayed to God even more earnestly in gethsemane didnt he.
- Sinful fear
Sinful fear is a fear of God that comes from sin. It can drive people away from God and can be characterized by dreading God, doubt, and atheis - God’s perspective
God doesn’t harshly chastise people for their fears, but instead redirects their attention to faith in Him. God wants people to turn away from their fears and focus on Him - The spirit of fear
The spirit of fear is not from God. When people neglect their relationship with God, a spirit of fear can easily dominate their lives.
- Look we often sin on these kind of things, but should not, and if we pay attention more to the Bible we will not. No one is perfect, not even servants, but they strive to be because they know, but if you have humilities inside you will be human, and they make mistakes. Do not feel bad, keep trying hard to do right, instead of wrong. Just remember the old saying, what is right is right, what is wrong is wrong. This might help you get through this thing called earth, and if you live by that it will help, and also try to keeping things straight.
Closing Prayer: Lord we ask that you touch upon this people and replace their fears with love hope and peace. Let them not be afraid and let them be trusting in you. In the name of the our lord and savior we pray.
Lord Jesus take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
