In the Bible, the days of the week primarily signify the creation narrative, where God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh, making the seventh day, known as the Sabbath (Saturday in the Jewish tradition), a day of rest and special significance; this concept is foundational to the Jewish faith and is also observed by many Christians as a day of worship, often referred to as “the Lord’s Day” (Sunday) in reference to Jesus’ resurrection.
