Raynette K. Weiss Ministries wishes all of you a very Merry Christmas. Enjopy the good time with Friends and family, and remember to give time to Our Heavenly Father.

  • Isaiah 9:6-7: “For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” 
  • Luke 1:30-32: “And the angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God'” 
  • John 1:29: “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” 
  • Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”

Lesson:

Here are some ways to act biblically with your family on Christmas Day:

  • Read the Bible
    Read the Christmas story from the Bible together. You can also read Old Testament prophecies about Christ’s birth
  • Pray together
    Praying together as a family can help you remember the anticipation of Jesus’ birt
  • Create a Jesse Tree
    Decorate a tree with ornaments that symbolize God’s plan for Jesus’ birth
  • Count down to Christmas
    Create a countdown of short Bible readings to remind your children of the story of Christ’s bir
  • Serve others
    Show Christ-like love and service by helping others with chores, making a meal, or giving a gi
  • Focus on Christ
    Listen to Christ-exalting Christmas music, watch a Christ-focused movie, or call out incorrect messages about Christmas.
  • Invite someone to share a meal
    Overcome your fear of feeling awkward and invite someone to share a Christmas meal with your family. 

    Parents and children need to be reminded of the story of the gospel and reiterate each day why we are celebrating the Christmas season. 
    Read the Bible together, sing Christ-focused songs, and put on plays in the home that point you back to gospel truths.
  • Closing Prayer:“Lord, this Christmas blessing prayer is for my family. Please protect each person as we travel to be together, and please bring peace and love to our discussions. I thank You for Your Son’s birth, and I am also grateful for the amazing love that my family showers upon us. Thank you for a glorious Christmas season. In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.
  • Lord Jesus take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
