The Bible contains many promises of God’s love for his people, including:
- John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal - 1 John 4:19
“We love because he first loved us” - Romans 8:39
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved - 1 John 3:1
“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of Go - John 17:23
“Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved
Other promises of God include:
- God will be present with you
- God will provide for your needs
- God will ease your fears
- God will trade His peace for your anxiety
- God will give you soul rest
- God gives us spiritual protection
- God will always provide a way to say no to temptation
God’s love is for all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, or class.
God expresses his love for us by providing the guidance we need to progress and reach our potential. [Heavenly Father] has given us divine counsel and commandments in his instruction manuals—the holy scriptures.He loves us because He is filled with an infinite amount of holy, pure, and indescribable love. We are important to God because we are His children. He loves every one of us, even those who are flawed or awkward. The point of this promise is that God the Father loves us just like a loving father would love and have mercy on his own children.
God’s relationship with us as a father is a beautiful gift. If you have been blessed to have a loving earthly father, this will be an easier concept to grasp.
Yet, He also promises to give us everlasting joy, reminding us that He has overcome this pain-filled world. The Lord’s covenant of love is a two way response—His covenant is certain, but it is conditional on His people’s obedience
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, As I greet this new day, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and hope, for I am reminded of Your unfailing love. Your promise: “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Lord Jesus take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
