Proverbs 29:22 A man of anger will stir strife, and the owner of anger, much transgression. Read Proverbs 29:22
Matthew 5:22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry at his brother will be subject to judgment, and whoever says to his brother, ‘Stupid fool!’ will be subject to the council, and whoever says, ‘Obstinate fool!’ will subject to fiery hell.
Galations 5:19-21 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are sexual immorality, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, things which I am telling you in advance, just as I said before, that the ones who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God
Lesson:
About Biblical anger:
Anger is a passionate and active response of the entire person to a real or perceived wrong. Anger is a God-given emotion of displeasure. Anger expresses that I am against that and take an active stance to oppose something that I determine as both important and wrong.
Biblical Anger, our Heavenly Father does not believe in but he let us have it, because he wanted us to be able to think and do what we have to do, but not against him. It is not good to be angry. It turns your body inside out, and causes physical conditions to flare up when you get angry and it is emotionally damaging.
Lesson:
This part is going to talk about peace and joy. Biblical peace and joy is an emotion that Our Heavenly Father enjoys and likes. The term “peace” is used in the New Testament in at least five different ways: (1) peace as the absence of war or chaos, (2) peace as a right relationship with God or with Christ; (3) peace as a good relationship among people; (4) peace as an individual virtue or state, that is, tranquillity or serenity;
You see, Our Heavenly Father wants us always in peace and joy. He realizes that it is impossible to do, but he wishes us to try to do this, and turn our anger into something positive.
The biblical definition of joy says that joy is a feeling of good pleasure and happiness that is dependent on who Jesus is rather than on who we are or what is happening around us. Joy comes from the Holy Spirit, abiding in God’s presence and from hope in His word.
Your Heavenly Father wants us all to be in peace and joy, so you can think of having fun with him and spending time with him. He does not like to see his children upset, he likes to see us happy and wants us to come to him and ask what to do, and how to handle the problem. He will tell us what to do and how, or hand the problem to him. Most comonly he wants to deal with our problems, so he wishes us to hand the problem to him. If you get angry you will lose your peace. Due to the adversary it is hard to stay in peace. He wants to Destry our peace and joy because he does not like us there. The way to Destroy satan is to always stay in peace. The war is between Our Heavenly Father and Satan, we are caught in the middle. This is why his only son was sent to die for us, so we would make it to heaven. Satan sometimes destroys people anyway by making people do what Our Heavenly Father would not want them to do. Once this happens satan has you forever, unless you ask for forgiveness and repent. Repent is to feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one’s wrongdoing or sin. The best thing to realize when things are going wrong it is satan, and not your Heavenly Father. Your Heavenly Father does not confuse you, satan causes confusion. When something comes on you you say, satan, I do not accept you, I am the Heavenly Father’s, and he will go away, but will end up coming back time and again as a test, so you have to keep telling him to go away and that you belong to Our Heavenly Father.
Note; we realize a lot of this is hard to do when you are in anger and satan is attacking you but try to do it, and it can be frustrating, and takes a lot of time but it is possible to be done. If you keep calm even while satan is attacking it is harder for him to come through. Also, if you recognize it all the time there is no chance of him being able to get through and he will stop trying to test. This is called warfare, and believe us at the beginning you will be in a lot of warfare, but later on you will not be in much. The easiest way to handle satan is I do not accept what you are doing and I do not want to see you again, and that will make him leave. Also, you should never be angry at people, but at satan because he makes people do crazy things. Our Heavenly Father is positive things, Satan is negative things.
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father we pray for everyone in the world who needs to understand this lesson and do understand it, and if they do not the Holy Spirit will help them understand and that people will become children of yours. We realize this is a hard concept to understand but we ask you to help the people understand the lesson. We ask this in the name of Our lord and savior.
Heavenly Father, I’m asking You to give me eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart to receive Your correction and guidance, as I seek a faith revolution in my life—a dramatic turnaround in my thinking, believing, speaking and acting. I ask You to give me the strength to hold strong in the days ahead.
SALVATION PRAYER
Lord Jesus; Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
