Proverbs 3:1-6. “1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. - Song of Solomon 2:10 NKJV
My beloved spoke, and said to me:

Lesson:
A: Strictly speaking, it’s difficult to find examples of believers going on “vacation” in the Bible. Paul took trips, but the missionary journeys were hardly relaxing. Jesus got away for prayer and spiritual refreshment, but those were more like spiritual retreats than modern vacations.
VTBS it is known for the quality of its courses and has been addressed by many biblical scholars of national and international. But God doesn’t go on vacation. Jesus doesn’t go on vacation. Sometimes Jesus and his disciples needed rest, like they did in these verses. Just when it looked like they might get it, they fed the crowds. Christian retreat can be defined most simply as a definite time (from a few hours in length to a month) spent away from one’s normal life for the purpose of reconnecting, usually in prayer, with God. Bible study, workshops, worship, and a sunrise or sundown service. Also, ensure that there is enough alone time for participants to rest, explore their surroundings, or engage in some form of physical activity. All of this is included in a christian retreat. One of the remarkable aspects of many spiritual retreats is the supportive and nurturing environment they offer for mental and emotional healing. These retreats provide a safe space where participants can address past traumas, release emotional baggage, and learn healthier ways to cope with life’s challenges. We need to do the same with God, and that’s why the Church warmly recommends annual retreats for the faithful. Retreats are a time away from our normal activities to spend time getting reacquainted with God, to examine the priorities of life and to make concrete and practical resolutions for improvement.Church retreats are pivotal for spiritual growth. They offer a respite from the distractions of everyday life, allowing individuals to focus on their relationship with God. This undisturbed time promotes introspection and spiritual reflection, making it easier to hear God’s voice and understand His will.
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father
Help our family to have patience and understanding. Guide us to be mindful of this gift of time together. Help us to make compromises when necessary and handle any chaos that comes our way with Your love and grace. In the name of our lord and savior we pray.
Prayer to renew faith in Our Heavenly Father when you are already a child of his.
Heavenly Father, I’m asking You to give me eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart to receive Your correction and guidance, as I seek a faith revolution in my life—a dramatic turnaround in my thinking, believing, speaking and acting. I ask You to give me the strength to hold strong in the days ahead.
SALVATION PRAYER
Lord Jesus; Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
