Opening Hymn: Getting to know you, by the king and I.
It’s a very ancient saying,
But a true and honest thought,
That if you become a teacher,
By your pupils you’ll be taught.
(Singing) As a teacher I’ve been learning —
You’ll forgive me if I boast —
And I’ve now become an expert,
On the subject I like most.
(Spoken) Getting to know you.
(Singing) Getting to know you,
Getting to know all about you.
Getting to like you,
Getting to hope you like me.
Getting to know you,
Putting it my way,
But nicely,
You are precisely,
My cup of tea.
ANNA AND THE MOTHERS
Getting to know you,
Getting to know all about you.
Getting to like you,
Getting to hope you like me.
Getting to know you,
Putting it my way,
But nicely,
You are precisely,
ANNA
My cup of tea
Getting to know you,
Getting to feel free and easy
When I am with you,
Getting to know what to say
Haven’t you noticed
Suddenly I’m bright and breezy?
Because of all the beautiful and new
Things I’m learning about you
Day by day.
Getting to know you,
Getting to feel free and easy
When I am with you,
Getting to know what to say
Haven’t you noticed
Suddenly I’m bright and breezy?
Because of all the beautiful and new
Things I’m learning about you
Day .. by … day.
Sermon:
What does it mean biblically to have measure in your life?
You just need faith that Our Heavenly Father has a plan for you – to grow you as a person. Therefore, you need to try your best to draw near to Him. It’s an ongoing thing.
Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless” (Ecclesiastes 5:10). Insatiability is one of the defining characteristics of greed. It is unrelenting—the only thing it wants is: “More.”Greed is defined as the immoderate love or desire for riches and earthly possessions. A person can also be greedy for fame, attention, power, or anything else that feeds one’s selfishness. As a deadly sin, greed is believed to spur other sins and further immoral behavior. Anything else that you did on earth, all though it is important for on earth, it does not mean anything because it will be burned up. When you leave you are supposed be be prepared to go back to your Heavenly Father. He might have let us help down here, but as his people once we get born again, we are his children. You should not be concerned about things much down here except to protect yourself down here, but it is really the lord’s job to be concerned with things down here. Remember he once said, give me all your problems, and I will deal with them. Remember to pray to him each day, even while at work about something, that way he can let you know what to do. This way you will know your life goals. When you feel something bothering you and wanting you to do wrong, realize that it is satan, and let these people know or the feeling to leave you alone strongly. Realize that satan uses people to be a vessel for spirits that will cause them to do whatever he wants. Therefore since these spirits were once people, talk to them like people and be strong with them and let them know to leave you alone in the name of the lord. If you feel sick you talk strongly to the spirit of infirmity to leave you alone in the name of the lord, and that you are a child of the lord, and not of the adversary. Talk to whatever spirit fits the feeling you have. Fight against satan by doing this type of thing. He will tempt you and you to get you to be on his side, do not go. Just focus on being with our Heavenly Father, no one who really knows the lord wants a life with satan. When we pray, we engage in loving fellowship with the Maker of heaven and earth. He has graciously invited us into a close covenant relationship with Him through the person and work of Christ.
Prayer is central to the Christian life. Christians are commanded to pray “continually” (1 Thess 5:17) as we seek God and grow in intimacy with Him.
Jesus made communion with God the first priority in His life. His approach to prayer was intentional and disciplined. He often rose early and went to a quiet place where He could focus on His Father (Mark 1:35-38).
If the Son of God prioritized His need for prayer, how much more should we?
Even when you feel weak, will you pray for strength to stand firm in Christ?
Through prayer, God allows us to be involved in His work that will go on forever. When we pray, we participate in God’s will being accomplished “on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matt 6:9-10). We are revived from the inside out as we become increasingly confident in the effective outworking of our relationship with God.
While we celebrate a harvest season just once a year, we experience the spirit of harvest all the time. As He spoke about seed-sowing and its desired results, He mentioned “harvest” (4:35), “reaping” (4:36-38), “fruit” (4:36) and “eternal life” (4:36). The “harvest” is the “reaping” of “fruit” – a harvest of souls, bringing lost people to the Savior so they might enjoy eternal life. or T ] to pick and collect crops, or to collect plants, animals, or fish as food: In the US, winter wheat is harvested in the early summer. Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.
Closing Hymn: Lord I lift your name on high by Rick Founds;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I’m so glad You’re in my life;
I’m so glad You came to save us.
You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I’m so glad You’re in my life;
I’m so glad You came to save us.
You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.
You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.
You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Closing Prayer: Our Heavenly Father we pray that your children that are born again listen to this lesson and learn from it and get closer to you, but not obsessively. We pray this in the name of our lord and savior.
Prayer for renewing faith
Heavenly Father, I’m asking You to give me eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart to receive Your correction and guidance, as I seek a faith revolution in my life—a dramatic turnaround in my thinking, believing, speaking and acting. I ask You to give me the strength to hold strong in the days ahead.
Lord Jesus take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
