Lesson:
Spiritual conflict, also known as spiritual warfare, is a disagreement over spiritual matters that can occur within oneself, with God, or with other people. These conflicts can lead to distressing emotions and questions about one’s spiritual journey. There are different reasons or causes for this type of conflict.
- Life events
Stressful events such as natural disasters, accidents, illnesses, or marital problems can contribute to spiritual struggles. - Personal vulnerabilities
Life crises that touch on personal vulnerabilities are more likely to trigger spiritual struggles. - Search for meaning
The search for purpose and significance in life can lead to spiritual struggles when it becomes less straightforward. - Other causes
Spiritual conflicts can also be caused by ignorance, miscommunication, misunderstanding, imbalanced material resources, competitiveness, perceived bias, or superiority beliefs.
Spiritual struggles can cause distress and disorientation, but they can also be a natural part of life and lead to growth and transformation. Some studies suggest that people who are able to resolve spiritual struggles over time benefit from those struggling beforehand.

All these things are quite difficult to handle, and therefore can cause more spiritual stress. The month of October is a month that is quite difficult with the Heavenly Realms. This is the month that both realms can just leave it out and have fun and party and so forth, so you get more of this friction that we discussed above more so in October. October 30th and 31st they really leave it out, just so you are kept advised of that. Our Heavenly Father does not care for the adversary and how he does it, but he has to allow it for his people for heaven, so he cannot play favoritism.

Spiritual conflict in Mark’s Gospel also expands beyond Jesus’ experiences with Satan, demons and unclean spirits. He came up against the hard-heartedness of the scribes and Pharisees. He regularly battled people’s unbelief. He even navigated the conflict between all of rebellious, sinful humanity and God himself.
Closing Prayer:
Heavenly Father,As I face these spiritual conflicts and live in the midst of spiritual warfare, I come to You seeking Your protection and guidance. Equip me with the Shield of Faith, and use Your truth to protect me from the enemy’s deceit. We pray this in the name of Our lord and savior.
