- Psalm 11:11 In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily [1] shoot at the upright in heart.
Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
Lesson:
In the Bible, the soul is the whole person, including their consciousness, emotions, and desires. The Hebrew word for “soul” is nephesh, and it refers to the living, physical body. The Greek word for “soul” is psyche, and it has a similar meaning to nephesh.
The Bible portrays the soul as the complete being that makes a person human. The soul is not something that exists independently of the body, and it dies when the body dies. The soul is a person
The Bible identifies the soul as a person, the life of the body, and thoughts or emotions.
- The soul is not immortal
The Bible does not teach that the soul is immortal or lives on after death. - The soul is made up of three parts

Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray this day for all souls, both known and unknown to me, who, although touched by death, have not yet entered Your Heavenly Kingdom. In the name of our lord and savior we pray.
Lord Jesus take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
