Opening Hymn: Praise to the lord the Almighty, the king of creation by Lobe den Hernan:
1 Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise him, for he is your health and salvation!
Come, all who hear; now to his temple draw near,
join me in glad adoration.
2 Praise to the Lord, above all things so wondrously reigning;
sheltering you under his wings, and so gently sustaining!
Have you not seen all that is needful has been
sent by his gracious ordaining?
3 Praise to the Lord, who will prosper your work and defend you;
surely his goodness and mercy shall daily attend you.
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do,
if with his love he befriends you.
4 Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore him!
All that has life and breath, come now with praises before him.
Let the Amen sound from his people again;
gladly forever adore him.
Sermon:
Our Heavenly Father wants a soul that is good, not evil. He also wants your heart. Your heart tells Our Heavenly Father what you really feel. In biblical terms the heart means mind, soul, spirit, or one’s entire emotional nature and understanding. Our Heavenly Father cannot deal with you if there is sin, so you need to ask for forgiveness and repent. Then you can ask for him to cleanse your Heart. Being a “soul” means we are living the lives God gave us. It doesn’t mean we are him, or that we’re walking containers for Our Heavenly Father’s spirit. It also means we are living breathings beings, walking with Our Heavenly Father’s plan for our lives. Tell Our Heavenly Father that He is your hope, and without Him, you can do nothing. A prayer of forgiveness if the broken heart results from someone hurting you. Ask Our Heavenly Father to show you the purpose behind the situation you are in. A person whose actions are not right but who trusts the Lord is more pleasing to Our Heavenly Father than an individual who is doing the right things but has no faith in him; that is a parable for us. Everything we think we own, Our Heavenly Father owns. Nothing do we own, it is his money that is paying us. He does it through companies, but it is his money that pays us. It is important that you understand this. It is the truth about this world. Our Heavenly Father controls everything. He knows everything that is going to happen before it happens. Even if it is years before he knows. He will try to warn you, but if you are one that likes not to take a warning or listen to a message. He will let something happen, and it is done to try to save you. We are also expected to be born again and be his children. Then we are to read the Bible and go with what Our Heavenly Father tells you. Talk to Our Heavenly Father even if he does not talk to you, you talk to him. Also ask for forgiveness if you make a mistake. He also expects you to do this, and to give all your problems and forget about them. Our Heavenly Father also expects people to watch out for his special people and to protect them and not want to hurt them. This is even expected in the end times. He does not like these people lied on or harassed. The adversary does this, and it is a sin to do so. Anything that is done to a disabled that is corrected should not be done again. Do not give any medication to these people unless it is medication prescribed by their doctors. Our Heavenly Father does hold these people close to his heart. Our Heavenly Father expects you to pray to him each night and day and near the end of your work day as well. He expects a self examination to be discussed at times. A biblical self examination means looking to Scripture and see God’s commands as the Holy Spirit points out the sins we harbor that are contrary to the Truth. We should regularly engage in the process of self-examination so that we grow in awareness about how we are measuring up against God’s perfect standard.
Three Guidelines for Self-Examination
- Be intentional. Set aside a specific time to examine your own life. Find a place where you can be alone. …
- Be specific. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to see what is going on in your life.
- Be a believer. Bring what Our Heavenly Father shows you to him in confession as a believer.
Examining your life is essential to your growth as a Christian believer. Seeing your own sins and failings will make it possible for you to confess, repent, find forgiveness, and grow in grace. These are the steps by which we move forward in the Christian life. As Americans celebrate the Fourth of July, they would do well to consider that the Declaration of Independence from Britain was necessary in order to fulfill the Genesis 48:19 promise. For the prophecy to be fulfilled, America had to be independent from Britain.
Closing Hymn: Holy, Holy, Holy, by Audrey Assad:
Holy, holy, holy!
Lord God Almighty
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to Thee
Holy, holy, holy!
Merciful and mighty
God in three persons
Blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy!
Though the darkness hide Thee
Though the eye of sinful man
Thy glory may not see
Only Thou art holy
There is none beside Thee
Perfect in power, in love and purity
Holy, holy, holy!
Lord God Almighty
All Thy works shall praise Thy name
In earth and sky and sea
Holy, holy, holy!
Merciful and mighty
God in three persons
Blessed Trinity
Oh God in three persons
Blessed Trinity.
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we pray that people understand the trinity and understand how important it is to remember that. You are in control and you provide the air we breathe. We hope they learn from this and come to you and be a child of yours and if they are become stronger within you. We pray this in the name of Our lord and savior.
Lord Jesus; Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
