Opening Hymn: Praise God from whom all blessings flow by Thomas Ken:
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen.
Sermon:
Water is symbolic of Our Heavenly Father’s salvation and eternal life which he offers us all through faith in His Son. Water is often presented as a gift from Our Heavenly Father. Rainfall can be a sign for his favour and goodness. Droughts can be a sign of Our Heavenly Father’s anger. In the New Testament water becomes a sign of rebirth in Jesus baptism. Water can be symbolic for the Holy Spirit. Water is used all over the Bible to refer to Our Heavenly Father and his ability to refresh us, and in the New Testament, to the Holy Spirit. The Heavenly Father is your creator so he is very important. You depend on other humans for comfort, but you should also be dependent on Your Heavenly. Father. Humans have flaws, we are sinners, but Our Heavenly Father does not, he is flawless. You must believe and exercise patience! Reflect on how God’s blessed you in the past, and let those experiences fuel and fortify your faith. See folks, you need to learn how to meditate, and reflect on things that you did. Figure out if it was in your Heavenly Father’s will or not, only he and you can do that together. No one should be judging you in any way, Your Heavenly Father wants you to do this. From the beginning, God had prohibited life-long, involuntary slavery among Jews because “you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed you”. In other words, Our Heavenly Father does not approve of any slavery of any kind. How did Our Heavenly Father keep slavery from happening again. Back in the old days we did not think about the troubles of the world as much as we do today or the cause. We did not think of the adversary as much as today. There were songs we used to sing about Our Heavenly Father and Jesus. By doing that you had more joy and peace than you do today. The secret to having joy and peace is staying close to your Heavenly Father and Jesus, and sing as many songs as you can to praise them and you will find more joy and peace. How about not thinking so much about the problems around the world so much and start thinking about your savior and Heavenly Father and sing a lot. Praise him a lot while you are singing and you will start feeling joy and peace and getting gifts and blessings from him. Yellow and gold also represent the presence of God and purification through fire. Yellow symbolizes intellect, creativity, happiness and the power of persuasion. In healing use yellow to promote clarity of thought. In the aura yellow signifies intellectual development, for either material or spiritual ends. Yellow is also the color of purity, victory, chastity and surprisingly sensuality too, since in spring in India unmarried girls wear yellow clothes. Some tribes believe that the color yellow has powers to keep evil spirits away. It also symbolizes the light of Jesus Christ. White in christianity symbolizes the light and purity. White is associated with truth, purity, cleansing, healing and protection. It is a good general healing color for the removal of pain and suffering. In the aura it signifies a high level of attainment, a higher level soul incarnate to help others. The white garment symbolises that the person baptized has ‘put on Christ, has risen with Christ. White back in the early days of christianity was the symbol of goodness, Our Heavenly Father, and eternal life. White offers an inner cleansing and purifying of your thoughts, emotions and, ultimately, your spirit, refreshing and strengthening your entire energy. system.
Closing Hymn: God so loved by We the Kingdom;
Come all you weary
Come all you thirsty
Come to the well
That never runs dry
Drink of the water
Come and thirst no more
Well, come all you sinners
Come find His mercy
Come to the table
He will satisfy
Taste of His goodness
Find what you’re looking for
For God so loved
The world that He gave us
His one and only
Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him
Will live forever
Bring all your failures
Bring your addictions
Come lay them down
At the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting there
With open arms
See His open arms
For God so loved
The world that He gave us
His one and only
Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him
Will live forever
The power of hell
Forever defeated
Now it is well
I’m walking in freedom
For God so loved
God so loved the world
Praise God
Praise God
From whom all blessings flow
Praise Him
Praise Him
For the wonders of His love (praise God)
Praise God
Praise God
From whom all blessings flow
Praise Him
Praise Him
For the wonders of His love
His amazing love
For God so loved
The world that He gave us
His one and only
Son to save
For God so loved
The world that He gave us
His one and only
Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him
Will live forever
The power of hell
Forever defeated
Now it is well
I’m walking in freedom
For God so loved
God so loved the world
Bring all your failures
Bring your addictions
Come lay them down
At the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting
God so loved the world
