Genesis 126-127 1:26 Then God said, Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.
1:27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Matthew 18:12 18:12 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.
Ezekiel 1:5.
1:5As I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces.
Ezekiel 1:10 Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
Lesson:-
Whether or not you believe in their existence, there is no denying that mermaids have captured the imaginations of people around the world.
There is some uncanny evidence in the Bible and history that suggests mermaids may have once roamed the earth. In Ezekiel 1:5, Ezekiel describes seeing what he believes are women with the lower bodies of fish. He goes on to say that their hair is like women’s hair, and they have the hands of women. In verse 10, he describes their faces as being human, but they also have the wings of birds. This description makes it clear that mermaids are real creatures that exist in the world. The Queen of Sheba, who is described in the Bible as a wealthy and powerful ruler, is believed by some to have actually been a mermaid. In the book of 1 Kings, we read about the Queen of Sheba, who was a beautiful mermaid. She came to visit King Solomon and was so impressed with his wisdom that she gave him many gifts. This story shows that mermaids are real and that they are intelligent and beautiful creatures. in 1614, John Smith claimed to have seen a mermaid while sailing in the Caribbean. He described her as having the head and torso of a woman and the tail of a fish. Another sailor on the same ship, Edward Wynne, corroborated Smith’s story. These two eyewitnesses provide strong evidence that mermaids are real creatures. The power and unpredictability of the natural world, especially the ocean: Mermaids have been used to symbolize the dangers and mysteries of the ocean, with their half-fish form representing the creatures that inhabit the depths of the sea. Mermaids symbolize the journey through the unknown, the call to dive deeper into our faith, and the exploration of the spiritual depths of our existence. They serve as metaphors for personal and spiritual growth, encouraging us to seek understanding beyond the surface.
Through elements like water, which is deeply symbolic in the Bible for purification, transformation, and Our Heavenly Father’s boundless love, mermaids resonate with these themes, enriching our spiritual vocabulary and understanding. Water as a Symbol**: In the Bible, water often symbolizes transformation, renewal, and the flow of God’s word. Mermaids, creatures of the water, can then be seen as messengers or guides on our spiritual journey towards renewal and deeper understanding.
