Good Friday is the Friday that comes before Easter Sunday. According to the Bible, the holy book that most Christians use, Good Friday was the day that Jesus was arrested and put to death by crucifixion, or hanging on a wooden cross.
It commemorates Jesus Christ’s Passion, crucifixion, and death, which is told in the Christian Bible. It is the day after Maundy Thursday. Good Friday commemorates Jesus’ death on the cross.
Some people think the time is later than that because they have not gotten the information that the bible scholars were able to find. A lot of things were hidden from us before the end times. Now they are being found, and things can contradict. This one makes sense because Jesus died late Thursday night into Friday morning and then rose on Sunday. Which is mentioned in the bible.
1 Peter 2:24 – He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
Isaiah 53:5 – But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.
Matthew 12:40 – For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Closing Prayer;
Heavenly Father We pray that you will look after all those we love, our friends and family, and that even though we may not be gathered in one place this Good Friday, you are always with us, guiding and comforting us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Prayer of Salvation: Which is how you ask to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
