Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invite you to Psalm 19. Sunday, May 28, 2023.

Opening Hymn; Come, now is the time to worship by Brian Doerkson;

Come, now is the time to worship.

Come, now is the time to give your heart.

Come, just as you are, to worship.

Come, just as you are, before your God.

Come.

One day every tongue will confess

You are God.

One day every knee will bow.

Still the greatest treasure remains for those

Who gladly choose you now.

Come, now is the time to worship.

Come, now is the time to give your heart.

Oh, come. Just as you are to worship.

Come just as you are before your God.

Come.

One day every tongue will confess

You are God.

One day every knee will bow.

Still the greatest treasure remains for those

who gladly choose you now.

Come, now is the time to worship.

Come, now is the time to give your heart.

Come, just as you are to worship.

Come, just as you are before your God.

Come.

Oh, come. Oh, come. Oh, come.

Worship the Lord. Oh, come.

Come, come, come…

Ephisians 4:2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Exodus 13:3 Then Moses said to the people, “Commemorate this day, the day you came out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery, because the LORD brought you out of it with a mighty hand.

John 10:18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

Sermon

This is how Our Heavenly Father feels about Memorial day; he encourages Christians to remember the sacrificial death of their Savior Jesus Christ and their martyred brethren. Thank Jesus for dying on the cross for us and sacrificing his life to save us from our sins. 3 things christians should also remember to do on Memorial day is Remember, thank, and pray. Remember those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom, thank them for all the service they did for us, and pray for all the families and the members of the armed forces. This is what Our Heavenly Father wants all of us to do. Yes, it is a day to remember about our fallen heroes that kept this country safe, but it is also what it is biblically all about. It is important to support our service men and women, and being kind and thanking them for thier service, and remember, most of them are vessels of Our Heavenly Father and some are not. It is important to become children of Our Heavenly Father and get to know him so you can have peace and joy on earth. It is your job to get ready for your eternal life because you have a choice but we encourage you to become a child of Our Heavenly Father so you can have eternal life with him.

It is also very important to learn to praise the lord and walk with him and we have previously talked about it in other lessons, but we will talk more about it this week.

Closing Hymn; Praise the Lord by the Imperials;

When you’re up against a struggle that shatters all your dreams

And your hopes have been cruelly crushed by Satan’s manifested schemes

And you feel the urge within you to submit to earthly fears

Don’t let the faith you’re standing in seem to disappear

Praise the Lord, He can work through those who praise Him

Praise the Lord, for our God inhabits praise

Praise the Lord, for the chains that seems to bind you

Serve only to remind you that they drop powerless behind you

When you praise Him

Now Satan is a liar and he wants to make us think

That we are paupers when he knows himself we’re children of the King

So lift up the mighty shield of faith for the battle must be won

We know that Jesus Christ has risen so the work’s already done

Praise the Lord, He can work through those who praise Him

Praise the Lord, for our God inhabits praise

Praise the Lord, for the chains that seems to bind you

Serve only to remind you that they drop powerless behind you

When you praise Him

Praise the Lord, He can work through those who praise Him

Praise the Lord, for our God inhabits praise

Praise the Lord, for the chains that seems to bind you

Serve only to remind you that they drop powerless behind you

When you praise Him

Praise Him, praise Him

When you praise Him

When you praise Him

When you praise

The Lord

Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we thank you for giving your life on the cross through your son Jesus. We also thank you for having patience and forgiveness and peace and grace and comfort. We hope the people that read this understand it, and if they do not that the Holy Spirit will help them understand. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Prayer of Salvation: Which is how you ask to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
