Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invite you to this 5th lesson on a series about the end times. This is the second Half of the lesson from Thursday. Saturday August 20, 2022.

Note, we did this this way because Friday’s lesson is very important to all of us, and we better pay attention. If you have not read it yet, please do so, it is crucial for everyone to know, now this lesson for Saturday is also crucial.

Even before the Flood, God’s servant Enoch was able to see the destructiveness of sin and the necessity of Christ’s return:

“Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied …, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him’” (Jude 14-15).

End-time prophecy shows that humanity will be on the verge of self-destruction because of sin. But why does God give us prophecy? Because He wants us to repent—to change! Why? Because He loves us and wants us to enjoy the blessings of His way for eternity—instead of the terrible consequences of sin.

In response to end-time prophecy: what should we do?

We should repent of our personal sins (Acts 2:38). Repentance means not only stopping sinning, but turning around and going God’s way instead. This means obeying God’s commandments and living a godly life (Revelation 14:12; 2 Peter 3:11).

Jesus also tells us to watch and pray (Luke 21:36). We must watch our own lives and be doing the things God wants us to do. And, even though we can’t know the exact day and hour, we are to also watch world events that help us see the signs of the end times.

For additional study, we recommend the articles in the section “End Times.”

For assistance in fulfilling Christ’s command to “watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36), subscribe to the Life, Hope & Truth Weekly Newsletter, which contains our World Watch Weekly section. It’s free and comes directly to your email inbox each week.

Jude 14-15: 14 It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones, 15 to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

Acts 2:38 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Revelation 14:12 12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.[b]

2 Peter 3:11 11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,

Luke 21:36 36 But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father we pray that the people who are reading this understand how important the end times are and that they pay attention so they do not sin on the end times. We pray that the holy spirit will help us pay attention. We pray that the holy spirit will help them understand. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Those who wish to become a child of Our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below

Dear Heavenly Father, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
