Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invite you to this bible lesson on the book of Isaiah chapters 22 to 27. Thursday, December 8, 2022.

25:1 Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.

25:2 You have made the city a heap of rubble, the fortified town a ruin, the foreigners stronghold a city no more; it will never be rebuilt.

25:3 Therefore strong peoples will honor you; cities of ruthless nations will revere you.

25:4 You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm driving against a wall

25:5 and like the heat of the desert. You silence the uproar of foreigners; as heat is reduced by the shadow of a cloud, so the song of the ruthless is stilled.

25:6 On this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine the best of meats and the finest of wines.

25:7 On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations;

25:8 he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his peoples disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken.

25:9 In that day they will say, Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.

25:10 The hand of the Lord will rest on this mountain; but Moab will be trampled in their land as straw is trampled down in the manure.

25:11 They will stretch out their hands in it, as swimmers stretch out their hands to swim. God will bring down their pride despite the cleverness of their hands.

25:12 He will bring down your high fortified walls and lay them low; he will bring them down to the ground, to the very dust.

Summary; Talks about the final judgement of the world from Our Heavenly Father. A lot of praise is given for his plans made a long time ago.

Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father you said it is your word for the people that are poor, weak, and have afflictions to be provided for. Help us to use our hands, and voices to give a lot of support in hard times. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

those who wish to become a child of our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Heavenly Father: I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
