Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invite you to this lesson about music and what it means to Our Heavenly Father. Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Psalm 150:1-6 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with flute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! .

Ephisians 5:19-33 Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.

Do you realize that your mood can change if you listen to biblical music. You can have a lot more peace if you listen to it. Make sure it is true gospel music, some says this out there and it is not. Also sometimes Our Heavenly Father can come through music and give a message. Some people he does this for. You have to leave go of the earthly music at times and go to Our Heavenly Father’s music, we are not saying all earthly music is Junk, but most of it is ok. We are all souls, and music is what can make the soul feel better and be peaceful. There is plenty of gospel music that talks about bible and the feelings, and the love of our Heavenly Father. A lot is on you tube. It can keep you calm if you listen to it most of the day. We will show you the lyrics of one song at the bottom of this lesson, just to show that even writing the lyrics out can be calming. Now, we notice this in our own house. Some of the music is not great. Test it this way sometime. Play gospel music for a bit, and then regular earthly music. Most of the time after this it can make you feel calmer in your heart. As we said, music goes to your heart. Whatever you listen to, your heart picks it up. Music is helpful such as soft music, gospel, and classical, but not hard rock.

Lord I lift your name on high by the Marantha Praise Band;

Lord I lift Your name on high

Lord I love to sing Your praises

I’m so glad You’re in my life

I’m so glad You came to save us

You came from heaven to earth to show the way

From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay

From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky

Lord I lift Your name on high

Lord I lift Your name on high

Lord I love to sing Your praises

I’m so glad You’re in my life

I’m so glad You came to save us

You came from heaven to earth to show the way

From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay

From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky

Lord I lift Your name on high

You came from heaven to earth to show the way

From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay

From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky

Lord I lift Your name on high

You came from heaven to earth to show the way

From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay

From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky

Lord I lift Your name on high.
