Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invite you to this Lesson about the biblical meaning of bells. Monday, December 19, 2022.

Note; This week is christmas week, therefore we have suspended normal lessons, and have individual lessons about things Our Heavenly Father uses for symbols at Christmastime. Today is bells. We will do this from now until Christmas. This year we hope people think of the true meaning of Christmas and not so much commercialism.

The history of the bell:

We have found some interesting information about bells, and we thought you might be interested in this respect since the Heavenly Father uses them as a symbol.

The earliest archaeological evidence of bells dates from the 3rd millennium BC, and is traced to the Yangshao culture of Neolithic China. Clapper-bells made of pottery have been found in several archaeological sites. The pottery bells later developed into metal bells. In West Asia, the first bells appear in 1000 BC.

Col. Aaron Hobart, Abington, MA, was the first person to make a bell and make it ring.

1 Corinthians 13:1

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

Exodus 39:25

They also made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates all around on the hem of the robe,

On that day HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses…

—Zechariah 14:20

Bells are indicative of the holiness placed upon Aaron by the Lord. Bells also give a sound that is very calming, and it is peaceful and joyful. It is a sound where Our Heavenly Father wants us to be calm.

Bells have a very special part in christmas, but can be used year around for the same reasons. Bells are very biblical and most people do not know this.

Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we thank you for bells, and the meaning of the bells, and we hope that the people reading this praise you for them, and with them. We also hope they understand this lesson. If they do not we ask that the Holy Spirit helps them understand and that they have fun this week with information given to them with various topics. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

those who wish to become a child of our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Heavenly Father: I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”

Please leave a message if no one can answer the phone. We will get back to you if you leave a message as soon as possible. Everyone is important to us. We are 24 hour service but have a small staff, and therefore we might be on the other line, or dealing with someone else.
